This is old news and I'm also surprised that it didn't get more attention. I was one of the first to post here that I thought Biden was a moron when Obama picked the guy. I honestly don't get the appeal of Biden at all. I completely understand the appeal of Obama. He comes across as a very compelling figure. I find nothing compelling about Biden. The dude has never had a filter and has always said a whole lot of stupid shit. Having said that, I still think the guy has more intellect in is big toe than that dope Palin has in her entire body.

Probably goes some way to showing the lengths he went to winning Virginia's electoral votes by promising the bureaucrats living in northern Virginia how he'd throw more money at their fumbling agencies.

He also wanted to soothe federal labor unions that he's bought and paid for.

I think it's ironic how few details he gave American citizens and taxpayers about what he'd do -- but he seemed willing and eager to let all the unionized federal bureaucrats know that he's on their side. Why not instead send an open letter to the American people describing how he'd stand up for their interests against entrenched government unions and bureaucrats? I s'ppose that's too much to ask someone who's busy being the Messiah.

I don't know what you're talking about.
Obama discussed his policies in as much detail as soundbytes allow.
At the very least he talked a good game about taxes and the economy, meanwhile McCain and Palin were preoccupied talking about some 70's burnout named Bill Ayers.

Well, I don't ever recall Obama ever saying that he was going to bring in a bunch of Washington "outsiders" into his administration.
