Steve Perry looks no better or worse than your average 60 year old. And who's the fucking weirdo that started this thread? Fawning over a 60 year old dude? Weird, to say the least. Gee, let's post pictures of Swafford playing shuffleboard so I can run to the fucking bathroom and rub one out.

How the hell does this guy do it? He looks incredible, and I don't say that as a loon, but rather as an esthetician. It looks like he has had no work done or anything, other than hair colour. Unbelievable, he doesn't look a day over 45. Keep going Man, you're doing something right!!!!
:D :D :D

Steve does look really great!
I wish I would have asked him his secret
but I imagine he'd say it's just leading a good old fashioned balanced life: working out & watching ones diet.

I try but I'm Italian & really love my pasta & pizza...

Perry clearly doesn't know what being a Giants fan means. It certainly means that you don't show up and coddle your biggest rival's best player like a "Teen" magazine fan boy. This seems like it was a poor stab at a press grab. The typical, semi-annual "Remember me?" cameo that Neal spoke of. There would be consequences in any real sports city, but considering that San Francisco is comprised mainly of weirdos I doubt this story will take off.

If Perry wanted a press grab, all he would have to do is call VH1 and tell them he is ready to get back in Journey. The press would be all over it, even if Neal & Associates turned him down.

Where have you been lately man? I thought you were on vacation or something. It's not the same here without you.

Agreed. Perry still commands as much respect as anyone in the biz, but I thought as a supposed fan that this was a horrendous error in judgment.

If this was taken on the 4th or 5th I believe the Dodgers were playing the White Sox. :D So maybe that is why he was there. Just a guess. :?:

I guess not being either a Dodgers or Giants fan I could care less what game he goes to. Just good to see him out and about looking healthy and happy. Loon in me I guess. Dan is happy to see him at a Dodgers event. I was yanking his chain earlier, I already knew how he felt about the Giants!   What I get for marrying a California man.

That's actually a great point. But that still doesn't excuse him standing in line like a 9 year old at a Jonas Brothers mall signing to see his favorite team's marquee player. I'm quite sure he has the "pull" to arrange a clubhouse meeting. It was a press grab.

Yeah, it kind of makes it look like he is quick to switch his loyalty. Borderline Personality Disorder perhaps?

Perhaps he just never felt like part of the Giants' fanbase.

How could he say that? Not a part of their fanbase? He sang DSB - what the hell is he talking about "not a part of their fanbase"? He WAS their fucking fanbase.

You can't be both.

Since you have no clue regarding the circumstances of how or why Steve was there, it is amazing that you could sit there and so easily pass judgment on someone.

Lora, I think you misunderstood where I'm coming from. Far for me to speak negatively about SP or be judgmental toward him. You know ever since I started posting on this board, I have supported and defended him unconditionally. I am, and will always be a loon. Just disappointed that he seemingly turned into a Dodgers fan ... but it is MY problem, not his.

There must be quite a group of 60 year olds in your neighbourhood that someone who looks as good as Steve Perry does right now seems average for 60

I'm starting to think that Perry was there for the "Dodgers Dream Foundation." Is that right, Lora? If so, he's "not guilty." If not, "guilty."

Reading my previous quote again, I was only showing disdain for Manny's remark that he will lead the Dodgers to a pennant (as if the Dodgers don't have enough of those already  ). I DID NOT mean to direct any negative remark(s) toward SP. Geesh, people are so sensitive around here.

Don't sweat it. You have to put things in perspective. Lora is Perry's "Bullhorn" and guardian of his image...and that's ok. Her being sensitive and/or misconstruing comments is akin to someone being sensitive at remarks about one of their family members. It's all good on both sides, Annie. No need to aplogize. You're both respected here.

Between the term "J-Boys," the Plokkers, the official site and the re-records you need to mention one, a combination, or all of them in every other post. Dude, you need an intervention. One can only deduce that there is some underlying jealousy. I mean, what else could drive this fascination? They're doing well, GB. It's ok...let it go.

I love the stories (from you, MistieJ, Lora/Cyndy) of those times. The SP/Journey years completely blewed by me. All my knowledge of their history are retro-.
