How the hell does this guy do it? He looks incredible, and I don't say that as a loon, but rather as an esthetician. It looks like he has had no work done or anything, other than hair colour. Unbelievable, he doesn't look a day over 45. Keep going Man, you're doing something right!!!!

Saint John wrote:Perry clearly doesn't know what being a Giants fan means. It certainly means that you don't show up and coddle your biggest rival's best player like a "Teen" magazine fan boy. This seems like it was a poor stab at a press grab. The typical, semi-annual "Remember me?" cameo that Neal spoke of. There would be consequences in any real sports city, but considering that San Francisco is comprised mainly of weirdos I doubt this story will take off.
Agreed. Perry still commands as much respect as anyone in the biz, but I thought as a supposed fan that this was a horrendous error in judgment.Voyager wrote:If Perry wanted a press grab, all he would have to do is call VH1 and tell them he is ready to get back in Journey. The press would be all over it, even if Neal & Associates turned him down.
Where have you been lately man? I thought you were on vacation or something. It's not the same here without you.

They call those people "front runners."artist4perry wrote:Saint John wrote:Agreed. Maybe he is now a Dodgers fan.........
That's actually a great point. But that still doesn't excuse him standing in line like a 9 year old at a Jonas Brothers mall signing to see his favorite team's marquee player. I'm quite sure he has the "pull" to arrange a clubhouse meeting. It was a press grab.Ftloperry wrote:If this was taken on the 4th or 5th I believe the Dodgers were playing the White Sox.So maybe that is why he was there. Just a guess.

Yeah, it kind of makes it look like he is quick to switch his loyalty. Borderline Personality Dicorder perhaps?

Perhaps he just never felt like part of the Giants' fanbase.

You can't be both.
Since you have no clue regarding the circumstances of how or why Steve was there, it is amazing that you could sit there and so easily pass judgment on someone.

Lora, I think you misunderstood where I'm coming from. Far for me to speak negatively about SP or be judgmental toward him. You know ever since I started posting on this board, I have supported and defended him unconditionally. I am, and will always be a loon. Just disappointed that he seemingly turned into a Dodgers fan ... but it is MY problem, not his.
Don't sweat it. You have to put things in perspective. Lora is Perry's "Bullhorn" and guardian of his image...and that's ok. Her being sensitive and/or misconstruing comments is akin to someone being sensitive at remarks about one of their family members. It's all good on both sides, Annie. No need to aplogize. You're both respected here.annie89509 wrote:Reading my previous quote again, I was only showing disdain for Manny's remark that he will lead the Dodgers to a pennant (as if the Dodgers don't have enough of those already). Between the term "J-Boys," the Plokkers, the official site and the re-records you need to mention one, a combination, or all of them in every other post. Dude, you need an intervention.Gunbot wrote:I'll be back. I need to see if they got that shoutbox installed yet.

I mean, what else could drive this fascination? They're doing well, GB. It's ok...let it go.

Well, thanks, SJ. You and I have never exactly seen eye-to-eye on things. But, I do understand, on a public messageboard, one can never take things too seriously (or personally).

Yep, we are loon sisters, A4P. The last thing I want is to have my loon credentials called into question.
