Are you serious? Even Deano can't argue that being the biggest non-call in SB history....

Maybe a pansy tug on #60, but definitely a good no call. Sucks to be you S2M.

Unless I see a physical grasp with the hands, I'm not calling holding. Hooking a guy, like on that play, is a non-call ... or you'd have to call it on every play. Holding is just that ... holding ... and this wasn't holding. If you can't break through an arm hook you're a bitch and don't deserve to be bailed out by a flag. Good no call. But, hey, I'm sure there are at least 238 other "bad calls" you can bring up from that game.

Riiiight. Except there were THREE Giants holding on that play, all right in front of the ref. The choke hold gets called 95% of the time.

Definitely the worst non-call in NFL history.

Hell, if you watched GB-Philly yesterday, you saw an Eagle(Winston Justice) hook/choke Clay Matthews so bad it lifted Clay off the ground and he was vertical in the air for a second....and it was called. Officiating is inconsistent, at BEST.

Yep, in the Super Bowl you MUST let the players play in those situations. That's why so much money is involved in football on those occasions and in those moments. The fans want to see the players play. If you look, the Pats turn their body into the hold anyhow, most of those aren't called. Besides, Eli just heaved it, it could have been picked or EASILY swapped away. That catch was S-I-C-K!

For some reason, I'm getting a gut check that N.Y comes to play. No way it's a 45-3 job, no way no how. Can't go against Brady at home when they are playing this flawless though. The Jets and Sanchez just don't strike me as an overall good team whatsoever. Brady preys on defense's like the Jets (and unfortunately, the Steelers.) I'll say 30-21 Pats.

Your point? I still think the Jets are mediocre at best. They beat Pittsburgh but seemed vanilla at best. The game was decided by kick return and a safety. If the Steelers backup tight end doesn't drop 2 pass's right in his arms, Steelers win 24-22. If Pittsburgh plays the Jets again (which may never happen) then I'd love it because I don't think the Jets can come into Pittsburgh in playoff ball, esp with Polamalu and Heath Miller in the lineup this time. 8)

Fair point, and I know Simmons and he IS smart. The question is, would you buy a book penned by S2M entitled, And Then They Held? Or maybe his follow up book, Eli's Great Escape that Really Wasn't.

Now I personally would buy JonathanfromBostons book, Fuck off Douche!

I would be stunned if this game turned into a blowout on either side. If the Patriots come out and smoke the Jets, nobody is beating them. I see this as nothing more than a TD game and I'm not picking against Brady. Dude is on a mission and while I certainly think he can lose, I don't think he will lose.

This is awesome.

When Lynch scored on that epic run in Seattle Saturday, it registered on the richter scale. University of Washington said it registered between 1.0 and 2.0 on the scale...meaning their crowd kicks ass. Probably the best home field in the NFL...sorry Steeler fan.

The BMI in Washington State is extremely high, which is why they
have richter readings for things as simple as a walk in the park!! :?

It is no mystery that Seattle's architecture in their stadium is designed to be very loud, hence the "12th man" followed by Arrowhead. I always thought Arizona's stadium got pretty loud when the Cards would host a prime time game as well.

I don't know why you'd throw in the Steelers fan comment for no apparent reason haha. Heinz Field's design is to show off the city from a landscape standpoint compared to Three Rivers bowl style. Pittsburgh is going to add a couple more thousand seats in the stadium and building on, starting in 2012 but from the Winter Classic game, they added 5,000 more seats, which will stay in Hienz for the Ravens game so there will be 70,000 + fans now in an already loud stadium with an open end. I'm there. 8)

Good call, and I believe it. Qwest is on record as having the loudest recorded decibels at 119. Arrowhead is second at 116. In contrast, the KC airport is usually operating at or below 100.

Kansas City looks like the set of Cops. There's one really nice part and a whole slew of streets you wouldn't want to turn down at night. I'll be living 40 minutes away, so you won't see me there unless it's light outside. I will be doing a few Chiefs games next year, though.

Isn't Seattle one of the fattest cities in America? I'm pretty sure it's up there, right after Ann Arbor.

Just a bunch of fat fucks jumping up and down, if you ask me...now, mind you, NOTHING like the triple-chinned, two pepperoni pizza-scarfing, three-coke-drinking, militia-loving, let's-just-shoot-our-guns-into-the-air-arbitrarily, obnoxious, don't-you-realize-this-isn't-1983-and-you're-not-at-a-Winger-concert-dippidy-doo-big-haired, can't-see-my-own-penis-or-vagina-because-of-my-massive-beer-gut, self-absorbed, Hannity-blowing, Palin-licking, egomaniacal, flatullent Wolverines fans, however.
