Sushi, your link reminded me of this snippet I read this morning from an op-ed in a newspaper from Prague. Its right on the mark:
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President"

Yep, I mentioned this earlier on a few pages back that it's the supporters who are more of a danger to America then the candidate themself's.

The U.S. has lost track of some of Syria’s chemical weapons, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Friday, and does not know if any potentially lethal chemicals have fallen into the hands of Syrian rebels or Iranian forces inside the country.
“There has been intelligence that there have been some moves that have taken place. Where exactly that’s taken place, we don’t know.” Panetta said, in a Pentagon press briefing.

If Romney is smart enough to play these cards, you might as well put a fork in Obama. He's done!

At least you still have 12 year old articles giving you some hope. Of course your article is before the recounts ( read cheating)![]()
If Romney uses the same method as Bush, he might succeed, but looks like they got caught and he may have to find other ways to get more votes

How do you like Team Romney's prediction of the first debate ?![]()
I heard Mitt say he was going to use the debates to call out Obamas lies. Should be easy to do.

Well guess you didnt se where Romney's senior advisor basically said the debate isnt all that important and Obama has the edge cause he has been in 8 presidential debates vs 0 for Romney.
It's gonna be fun to watch Romney sweat on Wednesday

I'm sure Obama wants everyone talking about who will do worse in the debates, but this is what everyone should be talking about. He owes the families of the four Americans that died an apology for the disgraceful way in which his administration purposely tried to deceive the world just to save face.
Kudos to CNN and Fox for doing some actual journalism for a change.

Fox viewers are the least knowledgeable and worst-informed news viewers in the world. Proof is in the pudding. Put this in your corn cob pipe and smoke it.

A study conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, found that the average American was able to correctly answer 1.8 out of four questions on international news and 1.6 out of five on domestic.
Fox News followers however only answered 1.04 domestic questions correctly, which is worse than those who said they watched no media at all – which stood at 1.22.
The study, which surveyed 1,185 people, found that in comparison, those who listened to National Public Radio fared best, answering 1.51 questions correctly, while those watching The Daily Show, which mixes current affairs with humour, scored 1.42.

Maybe 'it should be' what everybody talks about. But, nobody really cares much. Romney may try to make it an issue...but he hasn't been able to "make" much of anything an issue. He's drives the conversation about as well as he drives his dog on vacation.

Seven Wishes wrote:Reagan put our marines in Lebanon in 1982 without bullets in their rifles, and 250 of them were blown up. Conservatives didn't call for an investigation on that.
One can only imagine how Fox would have gone after a Democratic president if 3,000 Americans had been blown up in one day, and then he would have invaded a country and occupied it on absolutey fabricated intelligence...losing 5,000 soldiers in the process, along with over 30,000 wounded. If Obama would have let Osama bin Laden go in Tora Bora back in 2002 Fox would still be talking about it.
Riots in the middle east and people getting killed is news worthy. LBJ started a war based on a lie, Nixon continued the war and put troops in Laos and Cambodia without anyone's knowledge, Reagan traded arms for hostages with IRAN! To compare an intelligence failure and a attack on an embassy that resulted in four unfortunate casualties with any of these is to blow things so out of proportion its reeks of pathetic desperation.

Seven Wishes wrote:OK, point made. I just think it's being overblown. Compared with the fabrication of a letter of a non-existent purchase of yellow cake by a secular government via a terrorist organization as THE pretense for an unncessary and probably illegal war, this is nothing.
Now, THIS is a big deal.

THIS makes Obama a hypocrite at best. Talk about breaking a campaign promise.
