I miss when news was news. But Andrew, you can't tell me you are in favor of "fair" news. Because your character says otherwise. You have said things that are inflammatory and flat out false about American politicians. You wish for the downfall of someone before any evidence exists.

Let's say Obama was still president and this whole Russia thing was aimed toward him. I wouldn't say gee, I hope he is guilty so we can impeach our president. I would say I hope our president is not guilty of such things and if he is, then we take appropriate action. Wishing for the demise of someone, or wishing that someone betrayed a country just so you can score a political point is flat out bad character. But then you decry opinionated news media. For me, if you had of asked me in November, I would have said this was one of the better years in my life. I feel like I've finally defeated a lifelong battle with deep depression, got a few new grandkids, etc. December brought the loss of my nephew and so I'll go into 2018 thinking it will be the better year.

Not entirely true. The Murdoch sons took over 2 years ago and have begun cleaning house. Fox News has gradually been losing ground to other conservative media like Newsmax. While much of the Fox programming toes the White House line, some Fox News programming - like Tucker - is actually more strongly anti-war, anti-interventionist than the so-called "liberals" on MSNBC. Stossel and Napolitano are also more classically liberal than anything found on CNN and MSNBC.

So a public watchdog has to sue to get this information. Seems to me there is a violation of government data security here. Which one would think is a legal matter. This kind of thing just further supports that there was bias by some handling this investigation. Our FBI and DOJ needs a purge. Memorex, I generally agree with most of your posts, but I feel that calling Andrew's character out is a bit out of line. He graciously gives us a place to post and he works his ass off running a business that we enjoy content of. It's one thing to debate and call into question sources of information and there is a lot of misinformation and outright BS out there. I'm just pointing out that Andrew's words are full of hatred and false rhetoric, but yet he accuses others here of using sources that are the same. How can you be against something when your words are the same? It's my way of pointing out the hypocrisy that is politics for many people. That has nothing to do with him running this place. I've supported Andrew in that regard many times. I've been extremely friendly to Andrew over the years and I will continue to be. I see Andrew as nothing but a decent stand up guy. As I do most all of you. But the political discussion from many here is what adds to the problem. And Andrew happens to be particularly angry or obsessed, or something. The worst of it is not here, but on Twitter, etc. It's pretty vile and I see absolutely nothing wrong with calling someone out on that since they themselves posted all of that long before. I am not worried in the least that Andrew is going to throw a hissy fit and close this place down over that. because again, he says those things. I'm only reacting to him. I think of doxxing as taking any info and putting into a place where people are using usernames and not real info. Or even if they are using real info. In other words, it was not your place to put all that info about Monker, public or not, in a place such as this. If people want to go off and find info on their own, fine. But that was not proper in my mind. I didn't read it, so I have no idea if it was bad or good or whatever. At first, I thought it was a pretend thing you were writing and I didn't have time to read and I defended you.
