Those days are long gone, and all of the news networks have lost their journalistic morality.
Anyone who thinks one network is more "honest" than another is either obtuse or simply ignorant.
There is a war happening in this country.... It has been obvious since the debates, when Establishment pundits, democrat AND republican, banded together against their common foe, Donald Trump. This war is one that is pitting "the Establishment" against those that believe it is time the Establishment took a siesta....
This is why Trump has been the recipient of the single most non-factual attack in the history of this country, which has brain washed people worldwide.
His occupancy of the White House is a direct threat to the very existence of the Establishment and the continuation of their status quo.

I miss when news was news. But Andrew, you can't tell me you are in favor of "fair" news. Because your character says otherwise. You have said things that are inflammatory and flat out false about American politicians. You wish for the downfall of someone before any evidence exists.
Let's say Obama was still president and this whole Russia thing was aimed toward him. I wouldn't say gee, I hope he is guilty so we can impeach our president. I would say I hope our president is not guilty of such things and if he is, then we take appropriate action. Wishing for the demise of someone, or wishing that someone betrayed a country just so you can score a political point is flat out bad character. But then you decry opinionated news media. For people like me, that attempt to think above the political nonsense, it's pretty gross. Remember - you and your type are their customers. Because you say the things you do, they cater to you. If you were more fair minded, maybe the media would serve you in that way. And that goes for a few people here on both sides, not just you.
Andrew wrote:Every single point being made here by you few about CNN is exactly what the rest of the world is saying about Fox. A network with a directive to scare the shit out of the idiots that watch it. It’s entirely ultra conservative 1950s ideology as demanded by owner Murdoch, who is one of the most derided and hated people in the world. He is truly a corrupt, morally bankrupt dictator.
State Department releases classified emails from Clinton aide Huma Abedin found on Anthony Weiner's computer
Several emails with classified information from former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin were among a tranche of documents released Friday that were found on Anthony Weiner's personal computer during an FBI probe.
The State Department released about 2,800 emails, only a few of which included classified information, as part of a successful lawsuit by conservative legal group Judicial Watch.

Email shows The New York Times handed over Wikileaks Cablegate's publication schedule to the US government (without telling Wikileaks) giving the State Department, then headed by Hillary Clinton, up to 9 days in advance to spin the revelations or create diversions. ⚬ http://bit.ly/2CtYuiI

Memorex, I generally agree with most of your posts, but I feel that calling Andrew's character out is a bit out of line. He graciously gives us a place to post and he works his ass off running a business that we enjoy content of. It's one thing to debate and call into question sources of information and there is a lot of misinformation and outright BS out there. I don't want to sound like I'm kissing his ass, because I don't kiss ass, but still....![]()

Nobody was doxed. Doxxing is taking private information and making it public. That didn't happen here.

If you post something for all the world to see, don't bitch when people see it. End of story. There is no reasonable right to privacy when you've made something public.Memorex wrote:I mean, when you were dead and everyone was looking for you, what if the reason for your absence was something you didn't want anyone to know? I really couldn't care less. Feel free to search TNC to your heart's content.

You are making a false distinction here. The "real world info" was public and listed under the sn, Monker.
Also, I have ZERO respect for Monker. He is a pathological liar. He openly said he was here just "to play games." So the die was cast, he lost - goodbye bitch!Memorex wrote:Not saying anyone has anything to hide, but let's respect each other's right to post what we want about our lives.
