No, that was not supposed to be public.
But, finding it on Google is not an excuse. Posting pics of my children is FAR out of bounds...regardless of how easy or hard it is to find them.
Then, offering it up to anybody who requests is, frankly, perverted.
THAT is inexcusable behavior....indefensible. Those who defend it are also just as wrong and perverted.
I do not expect saying the above to matter, because, like true Trump zombies, you will never admit a mistake. Those here would NEVER say, "I was wrong, I should not have done that." Like a Trump zombie you will make excuses for the inexcusable, you will defend the indefensible...repeatedly. Because you can not admit any wrong.
The ONLY request I made to Andrew was to remove the posts which contained the pic. I did not ask for threads to be closed or people to be kicked off. I did not say it was a "private" pic...only that it was a pic that included my children and I wanted it removed.
I'm done here. I'm not going to be an active member to a forum where the other members feel it is OK to post pictures of other members children. That is a forum where members are out of control and have lost all sense of morality. It is not the type of forum I want to be a part of.

When you turn the conversation into taunting someone or an outright personal attack you take the risk of not knowing what you are going to get in return. Personally, this is not my thing and I don't do it. Nor do I tend to respond to such things. I can't really agree with the notion that Monker is some kind of victim in this situation.
Memorex wrote:Man, this is all super jacked up. No matter - Andrew set the rule and so there it is. But you all need to step back and check your attitudes on this stuff. This board should be for this board only, unless someone brings their own info here. And that should be true across all boards. And in life. It's actually kind of gross to think otherwise, in my opinion.
I'm no fan of Monker's views and even his method of arguing. But I am a fan of being fair and mature.

"Their own info".... so yet again you are making a fake distinction. It's not your own private info when it's made public. Both you and Monker keep using weasel words to articulate your opinion. You forfeit the right to any claim of ownership when you voluntarily expose your underwear to the town square.
Last thing I will say about this matter....
Monker was the one unapologetically exploiting his children. First, he exposed them to strangers on the internet in attempt to get laid (he's like guys that get a dog to meet women in the park). Now he is hiding behind the alleged sanctity of his family to defend his own poor choices. Where was this concern when he decided to use them as a cheap cyber prop? Not only should the Secret Service pay him an overdue visit for his demented comments towards the president, but Child Protective Services should come bolting through his door asap.

Monker, who started the chain of events, has shown zero courtesy to others on this board. I doubt he even knows what it means.

Again, I'm not a fan of Monker's style by any means. But when comparing it to others, he was certainly fighting more than fair. Right or wrong, it was in the realms of what I think is acceptable. He was an asshole and people were assholes back to him. He called names, they called names. All perfectly fine for whoever wants to participate. He did not show anyone the level of disrespect of going and finding personal info and posting it here where he did not bring that himself. You all can spin it any way you want but that is just discourteous. At the end of the day, we have to be able to shake hands and go back to our corners.
By the way - fuck all of you for making me defend Monker. Something I never wanted to do. I need a shower now.

Finding "personal info" that is publicly posted and available to ANYBODY. Why don't you give it a rest? You're just making up bullshit and inventing rules of privacy that don't even apply to this situation.

The point is Monker doesn't show respect at all. In fact he is always quick to tell you "he doesn't give a shit". But when he comes up on the losing end of a "cat fight" suddenly he wants to be a victim, wants respect and some sort of protection. Perhaps he was looking for one of those "safe spaces" we have heard so much about. I had no dog in this "fight". I saw the post in question and moved on without giving it any thought. The more you dwell on it the more "effect" it has.

I would not look in someone's glove box if they allowed me to borrow their car.
I would not look up a friend's voting record because I could and it's public.
I would not go through someone's mail if they had me house sit.
I would not search court records on a friend or colleague.
I absolutely would not post someone's dating a profile and their personal pictures on a site that has zero to do with that info.

I hope all of you take a little of that tax saving money and send some Drew's way. Babysitting is not cheap these days.

Memorex I believe your heart is in the right place. I just think it's being wasted on a individual that doesn't deserve it. Keep in mind this person has said he doesn't give a damn what people think or feel.

All I can about this subject is I think there is more going on then meets the eye. One just has to look for it and have patience.
Memorex wrote:I'll say this as my last point on this subject. Over the years, there have been people here that were in situations or whatever. I have sent them money, often electronically. Often to be picked up from wire places. So this entails including my email, name, etc. While I have nothing to hide I would hope that there are a set of rules here that say no matter what goes down, personal details are held in the strictest of confidence. Sure, there is a difference between that and a public dating profile. But I'd just prefer we treat it all the same. And in that regard, I cannot feel Monker deserved it no matter how much of an asshole he was being. Anyway, I'm just repeating myself. I get it.
