The man is doing some very important things with his life at this point and is very busy. Just because you arn't aware of them, dosen't mean it's not happening.
So how do YOU know this? Yes, he has done some volunteer work, although there are no dates included with the write up I read. Other than that, what is Perry doing that is keeping him "very busy"?
And I think you have missed the point to Andrew's post, which he clarified subsequently...Music was a MAJOR part of Perry's life, it is what he did! To not do what you have done for a major part of your life could be very boring.
We all know that Perry has said he is enjoying living a normal life. We all know that he gets involved occasionally with musical projects. But is it like a drug addict who is sober now? You never stop being a drug addict, you simply learn to control it...has Perry done the same thing with music? Music was Perry's life and the music is gone now...it cannot have been easy to adapt to. You can fill your life with distractions so as not to think about it...but it is still there, an emptiness, a craving, a need. And
if there are days where that craving surfaces and that need starts gnawing at him, I am sure Perry
might look at his life and think it has been boring without the music.
