It was a sizeable news (for public consumption that is) item running in a publication called the NewYork Times awhile back. That edition, yellow with age and covered in dog piss as usual, should be arriving in SF in a nice stack about a week from now. It said the radio was taking payoffs to keep the cookie cutter flavor of the month bands on radio at he expense of other established artists. Artists like we all come here to talk about.
