Second Coming's self-titled album released in '98 is good stuff!
I never heard of them before. I'm listening to their soundclips right now, who do they sound similar too? Soundgarden? I can't think of the band they sound like- HELP!!

A little Soundgardenish, a bit Godsmackish, a teensy bit Alice In Chainsish. They're from Seattle (home of grunge?), but they're more melodic (IMHO).
There's a video here

Opeth - Blackwater Park. The louder songs on Ghost Reveries have prepared me to enjoy yet another masterpiece.
In theory, Ayreon "The Human Equation" should quash Nickelback "All the Right Reasons," but I'm a mainstream guy, so Ayreon may have to wait for a future AOTW, until I can spin it more times and fully digest all 2 1/2 hours of music there is to offer.

Listening right now to Giant - Live and Acoustic Official bootleg
In a month the album will be three years old. And no, they are not together. Dan is doing production work these days and the odd session work for country albums.Angiekay wrote:SnakeLady wrote:Well today the mailman arrived with my package I bought![]()

No kidding?! Are they still together? I haven't heard anything about them in years.

Nothing came close. Not even my Female AOTY (Broke N Blue "The Waiting.") This decision was made after listening to Allen/Lande "The Battle" today. Not even Jorn could top the standard he set at the beginning of 2005. When comparing 2005 albums, 2nd place seems more like 8th place when compared to Masterplan.

My AOTW is Kamelot - Karma; just a couple more weeks until I can inspect whether Khan has shaved better this time...
Let´s hope he did
