WARNING: YOU MAY NEED A VOMIT BAG IF YOU READ THE FOLLOWING!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1-He's God's Gift To Man.
2-His Wife Is God's Gift To Women, but with a bad accent.
3-He LOVES what he does for a living.
4-He works hard if not harder than any other band member because he has "those large shoes to fill." (I think he wears a larger size though)
5-His favorite song is "RumoUrs" by The Timex Social Club: "How do rumoUrs get started, started by jealous people and they get mad..........."
6-Awesome is Italian for Augeri.
7-The word Memorex is not in the Italian dictionary or the J.Cuervo version I have.
8-Eight wonderful years of touring, after touring, after touring, as he was meant to be the lead singer of Journey.
9-I've met wonderful people who became friends thanks to Stevie Awesome taking on a job that anyone else would have failed at or ripped some of the "rumoUr/trash someone I don't want in the band patrol" a new one.
10-He is a perfect 10!!
Now, these are all rumoUrs and some are facts. I don't kiss a$$, never have, never will, but I know fact from bad fiction. And I am on the "Steve Augeri can do no wrong" bandwagon. Because he is STILL the one(Orleans?) and only singer that can sing those songs live, yet never gets credit for it. Except for the fans who are dismissed as "had to much Jones Kool-Aid or worship BackTalk." And there a thousands of fans that will never post on any site, but attend just as many concerts as Frankie.
Let It Be, Oh Let It Be, pass the kool-aid, and I don't care if Steve misses 10 notes a night. He still sounds better than anyone NOT trying to do a Perry impression, with the biggest smile on his face. Because he loves what he does for a living. How many here can say that about their jobs? Not alot, IMHO.
Seeing a great band live is one of the greatest feelings on this Earth. And I know some other great feelings
So enjoy this live tour, the next live tour and relax and have some fun. Fun, Fun, Fun. I know I will.
See EVERYONE in Denver.
Cheers,
Sherri
