Its just that your opinions are very entrenched and vociferously expressed, which is unusual for somebody completely new to these boards.

Marty, I have read these boards and never posted until the shit hit the fan and the Neal and the boys needed support. That's why I signed up to post. I support Neal...end of story! I don't need no other name and I ain't going to the BT board to drink kool aid. I am just sick of people beating Neal, Perry and anyone they can find but Mr Awsome gets a free ride like he did nothing wrong when he did the worst of all. The guy's got people making fools of themselves with prayer circles etc. That's just wrong Dude, just wrong! I would be cool if he just left when he couldn't sing but he didn't. I don't know who or what you think I am but I'm just me....Fox.
That's fine, I'll take you word for it. It's just that the sudden escalation in the aggression shown in your more recent posts reminded me of somebody else here not so long ago.
I don't think Augeri got a free ride, as you suggest. He has been pilloried on this forum for weeks - crucified more than anybody I've ever seen. At the end of the day its Neal's band and Steve was/is a hired hand. If anything the buck should stop with the boss.
However, that's not the point. The point is that Journey is a business. They don't answer to you, or me, and they certainly shouldn't make decisions based on what you say they should do. At least 90% of their fanbase don't have the slightest inkling about the so-called 'tapegate' - most couldn't even tell you who the members of the band are - and they don't care. And, with a few sensationalist exceptions, the media cares even less. Its not worth getting so worked up about it.
