More like a "Turd in the Punch Bowl".
What a self-important piece of dog shit.

No, they don't.
They undermine the entire premise.
Paul Giamatti's character slowly finds himself living in a real-life fable, and the only person whose heard of this fable is a crude one-dimensional Asian stereotype who lives in his building.![]()
Yes folks, it's as stupefyingly awful as it sounds.
Oh, and there's also a gifted child who reads cosmic messages from the back of his cereal boxes.![]()
A filmic celluloid abortion of the first order.

"Superman" had plenty of flaws, but enough geektastic moments scattered through out to make it worthwhile.
Still, a slight missed opportunity.

Well, kryptonite's green, right? That colossal hunk of crystal wasn't entirely composed of Kryptonite. Kryptonite is just the element from his home planet that's harmful. Otherwise, his Fortress Of Solitude wouldn't be much of a haven, would it?
Superman Returns could've been so much better were it not a retread of the 1978 Superman. I still enjoyed it, but it needed a supernemesis (which is what the tentative sequel, which we can no expect no sooner than 2009, will entail).
Looking forward to Ghost Rider, Spider-Man 3, and Transformers!

Haven't seen it...however I AM looking forward to the next Batman-installment: The Dark Knight, featuring Heath Ledger as The Joker...hopefully, he won't be taking ALL the scenes like Nicholson did.
