No problem, Saint John. We simply disagree. Thank you for the apology, though unnecessary.

St. John,

I noticed you never answered the Tower 7 question.

Also, I see you are very pro military, yet never served. I am not hounding you, but it is awfully easy to be pro war, pro GI Joe, and Never go and serve.

By that logic, have you ever been a lead vocalist of a mega-million selling rock band? No? Well you can't say anything anti-Augeri.

For a guy that had no weapons of mass distruction he sure as fuck liked to play hide and seek with UN Weapons Inspectors.....when he even let them into the country. Are you guys telling me that you believe this guy who killed millions, boasted about what he'd unleash if we invaded, and played "the shell game" with UN inspectors, suddenly took all of his bio and chemical weapons and simply destroyed them? They were shipped out of the country because that puke from France alerted his buddy Hussein that we weren't fucking around this time. The UN played paddie cake with this fucker for so long he actually thought we didn't have any balls to invade. He must not have noticed the change in the White House.

Let me get this straight. Out government can find a line of coke on your dresser, but somehow, cannot find the 400 tons of ILLEGAL WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION in Iraq?

Think about it. Why do you think Colin Powell resigned? That guy had to lie on reolution 1441 tro appease his commander in chief (fuck that hurts to type that), and he did so because he himself is a soldier...he follows orders. But him leaving spoke volumes. Condi Rice fucked herself out of any future political aspirations, by staying and going with Bush on this..Political suicide.

I would love to debate that cocksucker just once. I love how he has Alan Combs in there, so he can steamroll him nightly. Put me in there, and FOX News would be a different game, I guarantee you that.

Tower 7 seems to have come down for several reasons. The first Trade Center building registered a 2.1 seismic reading....a small earthquake. The second building registered a 2.3....also a small earthquake. Also, the Marriott, a hotel even further away than Tower 7 came down immediately due to the seismic force and falling debris. I believe it was about 30 stories tall. I think all of these factors led to a structural failure. Conspiracy theories are fun, but one of this magnitude would have literally had to involve thousands of people. Someone would have backed out or come out by now. And, if it were a conspiracy, that would insinuate we knew they were going to hijack the planes or we did it ourselves. Leaving me to ask why the plane that landed in PA didn't complete its "mission?"

Well, I do agree it would be entertaining. But I don't think Combs wants to come off like a movon.org/dailykos type and lose all the votes of sane Americans. I'd love to see you do that for the Dems, deano

Sean Hannity has been begging Hillary, Jesse Jackson and many other prominent democrats to come on the show. Sadly, they know they're ideologically retarded so they stay away. The only one with balls is Sharpton, even though he makes an ass of himself monthly.

Personally, I can't even begin to THINK that I know a fraction of what's happening at the federal level of government. The complexities of how countries relate at that level are well beyond me as I'm only provided with propaganda from every side and angle.

Considering every side and angle I find this to be true: the world is a complicated place filled with an expanding population teeming with diversity in culture, religion, and ideology - and it's getting smaller all the time. Technology continuously brings us closer together. Beginning with the invention of the wheel and the harnessing of animal power to ocean vessels, trains, the radio, telephones, cars, airplanes, television, and now the internet. The world is connected in such a way as never dreamed possible. At the same time we're so close to our neighbors that we've lost our comfort zone - our personal space. We're in each other's faces and it's just too close for comfort.

It's a challenge to find common ground upon which to establish comfort. While one may believe something to the core another may not. Ultimately, I believe that I must love my neighbor NOT as myself but rather as THEY want to be loved. If they don't want to be loved then I offer my friendship. If they don't want my friendship then I offer my neighborliness. If they don't want that then I respectfully leave them in peace until they may need me one day.

The world is far more complicated then that. Some people believe in hate and would prefer to kill others in the name of hatred than to find a common ground for peace. Because I'm fed propaganda and therefore lack the information needed to make an intelligent decision I've resolved to trust in the U.S. government that they're doing what's best for the country. While they're taking care of the country I'm taking care of my neighborhood. That's the least that I can do for my country.

I would just like to say that the Muslins believe this is payback for the Crusades and all of history. They have been attacking our interests since '79 when Iran took our hostages, and that goof ball Carter sat there. Reagan raises his hand to be sworn in, and they split the TV screen showing our hostages taking off. Must be something about those cowboys. Then there was the hit on the barricks in Lebanon, the guy in the wheelchair pushed off the ship and the partial hit on one of the Towers in '93. As far as I am concerned many terroroist leaders have been captured and many killed. It may only slow them down awhile, but I believe their monetary structure has been descimated and they are on the run or in a cave @ 10,000 ft in N Pakistan. Other countries are also getting hit and have started to fight back and share info. As far as WMD,what was in the convoy of 55 semi's that Russian special ops crossed into Syria with as we entered the south. It was shown on Fox news. The Israelis watched it get buried in Lebanon. Russia just loves to sell to ANYONE. Saddam harbored terrorists and paid $25,000 to the family of any killed. What was Abu Nidal doing in Iraq? Oops Saddam was having a bad hair day and shot him dead at point blank range. If you think Saddam wasn't trying everyway he could to get WMD with his arch enemy Iran building nukes, then you are not very aware. We will be at war for the rest of my life. Amen

This and almost ALL the ridiculous conspiracy theories have been thoroughly debunked. The only reason people believe this crap is because of blind hatred for George Bush.

From "Popular Mechanics" http://www.popularmechanics.com/science ... page=5&c=y

"WTC 7 Collapse

CLAIM: Seven hours after the two towers fell, the 47-story WTC 7 collapsed. According to 911review.org: "The video clearly shows that it was not a collapse subsequent to a fire, but rather a controlled demolition: amongst the Internet investigators, the jury is in on this one."

FACT: Many conspiracy theorists point to FEMA's preliminary report, which said there was relatively light damage to WTC 7 prior to its collapse. With the benefit of more time and resources, NIST researchers now support the working hypothesis that WTC 7 was far more compromised by falling debris than the FEMA report indicated. "The most important thing we found was that there was, in fact, physical damage to the south face of building 7," NIST's Sunder tells PM. "On about a third of the face to the center and to the bottom--approximately 10 stories--about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out." NIST also discovered previously undocumented damage to WTC 7's upper stories and its southwest corner.

NIST investigators believe a combination of intense fire and severe structural damage contributed to the collapse, though assigning the exact proportion requires more research. But NIST's analysis suggests the fall of WTC 7 was an example of "progressive collapse," a process in which the failure of parts of a structure ultimately creates strains that cause the entire building to come down. Videos of the fall of WTC 7 show cracks, or "kinks," in the building's facade just before the two penthouses disappeared into the structure, one after the other. The entire building fell in on itself, with the slumping east side of the structure pulling down the west side in a diagonal collapse.

According to NIST, there was one primary reason for the building's failure: In an unusual design, the columns near the visible kinks were carrying exceptionally large loads, roughly 2000 sq. ft. of floor area for each floor. "What our preliminary analysis has shown is that if you take out just one column on one of the lower floors," Sunder notes, "it could cause a vertical progression of collapse so that the entire section comes down."

There are two other possible contributing factors still under investigation: First, trusses on the fifth and seventh floors were designed to transfer loads from one set of columns to another. With columns on the south face apparently damaged, high stresses would likely have been communicated to columns on the building's other faces, thereby exceeding their load-bearing capacities.

Second, a fifth-floor fire burned for up to 7 hours. "There was no firefighting in WTC 7," Sunder says. Investigators believe the fire was fed by tanks of diesel fuel that many tenants used to run emergency generators. Most tanks throughout the building were fairly small, but a generator on the fifth floor was connected to a large tank in the basement via a pressurized line. Says Sunder: "Our current working hypothesis is that this pressurized line was supplying fuel [to the fire] for a long period of time."

WTC 7 might have withstood the physical damage it received, or the fire that burned for hours, but those combined factors--along with the building's unusual construction--were enough to set off the chain-reaction collapse."

Also, here's a picture showing the southwest corner of building 7, which was taken out by falling debris from one of the collapsing trade center towers...

First off, Jesse Jackson is a piece of shit. he is NOT a Democrat, but a handout leach. Hillary knows she can't gain anything by debating a hack who is no doubt paid by the GOP to ruin her, try as he might. She is a presidential candidate...They take the high road, and don't dabble in Hannity level BS.

Sharpton is a cocksucking leach as well.

First and foremost- I vote. I educate myself on local-world affairs. I am a teacher. I serve the inner-city special education population of Los Angeles. I strive to empower my students. I advocate on a daily basis for my students. I don't bitch about W, I have a serious contempt for the man and his policies concerning our country and the world.

You have a contempt for the "man"? Did you have contempt for Clinton? If Bush is indeed contemptible as a person, if you're honest, I would hope you'd agree that Clinton is no better.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought George Bush created terrorism by invading Iraq.

You have a contempt for the "man"? Did you have contempt for Clinton? If Bush is indeed contemptible as a person, if you're honest, I would hope you'd agree that Clinton is no better.

I agreed with Clinton's policies a helluva lot more than I do W's. My opinion of W has nothing to do with my opinion of Clinton- W is running things, or at least appears to be. My contempt is with George W Bush, not Clinton.

Just trying to see if you can be honest and say that Clinton wasn't all that skank-free himself. Even though I disagreed with the guy on most issues, the country still did okay under his watch. However, the guy is a contemptible individual.

It's hard for ANYONE to come up with a Politician, that isn't contemptable, at some pointin their careers. Clinton may not be a great person in reallife according to csome, but he didn't do to this country what Bush has done, "because that bad man went after my daddy...". Politicians rarely if ever actually have everyone elses best interests at heart, unless they have lots of money to throw at the politicians.

Politics & religion & Abortion & Classic Rock band's lead singer's are issues that will always have at least two sides. And there's rarely a clear winner in any of the arguements.
