Then there is where I finally get off the train.
Aside from a nice Neal solo, that song and Journey have nothing in common whatsoever!
JSS has more taste than that anyways.

I admit, I am a 'Perry' era fan from the word go, although they have written some amazing things before & after. But nothing beats Perry when he shows his R&B/croon/younger side, that's the side that influenced me as a young singer, just so happens as we got older, we both got raspier.

I thought "My Sanctuary", his ode to peeping tomism and chronic masturbators everywhere already classified for that.
"i watch u from my window until my flag unfurls.....jerking wit pleasure....every night i'm craving u"
Never before had I felt so honored to have been arrested for public indecency.

LOL.
Throw in a Neal guitar solo and I think we have the lead single off the next Journey album.
EightyRock wrote:JSS said: "just so happens as we got older, we both got raspier."
Hey Jeff.... nothin' wrong with that rasp.....it's called soul. That's what was missing from Journey's vocals since Perry's left, soul. Cain just said he now thinks it is just about energy & that's what people were missing. Wrong. Perry delivered those songs like he meant it and every time was his last. Of course it helped that he penned or co-penned them, so he felt the original intent of the song, but you are doing them serious justice now, so THANKS. As long as Journey is going to stay on the road, they should be carrying on the tradition Perry's vocals began for them and brought all the fans to the table. You are the right guy to do that, plus you respect the originator. Good on ya, dude.

TNC, it isn't a fake song. It flatout kicks major ass. "Don't waste my manhood, spittin in a trash can." You cannot beat that.
