Fuck the lyrics - I'm allowed to not like a stupid ass cover that depicts a granite-jawed soldier surrounded by angels......just as you're allowed to have a different opinion.defbezerk wrote:listen to the lyrics before you make a stupid call like that
No my 'assumption' means I won't be buying the album - that's all.defbezerk wrote:Veto an album because you hate the cover....jesus christ are you retarded. You said before the cover is pro-war and it is any but...your assumption has made you look like a total idiot

That's 2 suggestions in one week mate.....and to think you live in Canberra too - so close to all those fuckheads.

Yeah...but most of those fuckheads live in Sydney and just travel down to Canberra when they have toas if you'd come here by choice.

I don't begrudge you buying it. Unfortunately the actions of the Governments of the US, Britain and my own country in the last four years have made me so rabidly anti-war that even the slightest thing now offends - however, I think that taking a stance against people who make enormous profit from the suffering of others is still the predominantly sane postion......on the other hand, it is just an album cover.![]()
At the end of the day, who gives a shit?

Kenny:
I'd hoped you wouldn't see the artwork as pro-war, but as pro-soldier. I don't think it takes a stand either way, except to say that it'd be great if angels watched over everyone who finds themselves in that kind of hellish situation. The album itself contains songs that Kip wrote that require the listener to feel what these brave men and women must feel in combat, but that doesn't require you to agree with this war or any war.
I hope you'll take a second look at it and give it another chance. Thanks,
EVS
