And, Nuno seemed pretty PO'd that they were not on the album. There were some radio interviews around the time of "III Sides to Every Story" where he pretty much shrugs off the songs and the entire scenerio of working with Perry.
Strange because in the interviews I heard with Perry, it was like they were as close as brothers. Portuguese twins or something... That's WAY too bad.
Speaking of FTLOSM- I finally heard that hour long writing session for Missing You. Jesus, anybody got any more stuff like that? I found it really cool to listen to. Interesting how quiet Perry sang those notes. He's not belting out at any point. That guy was a master. And though he cracks once or twice, it was clear that he still had it together vocally. Very interesting to me as a singer.
And on the avataar, if it offends, I really don't care. It was meant to be funny folks. Relax... Thanks to those that got some enjoyment out of it.
God damn, I would love to hear that.
Any chance of posting it on You Send it?
I actually emailed Nuno awhilw back via his MySpace about working with Steve. He replied and said that he wrote a couple of songs with Steve, and it was really up to Steve if it ever gets released or not. He also said he doubted very seriuosly if it ever sees the light of day.
I know the Nuno stuff is one of the few Perry things that have never been leaked.
I really wish Perry would have released Lost Angels and Somebody,Somewhere on the reissues. Both are really good tunes IMO.
