I am going to take this info with a grain of salt. Anyone could say what you are saying. Unless there is names of a credible source, it is all heresay to me. :D

Fair enough.

Why not upload the two demos you sent me so people can hear for themselves?

Those were from a couple of years back.

Perry demos? Please share?

Perry doesn't have to rejoin Journey to sing with them again. He doesn't have to tour. It would be nice if once in awhile if he would do a date or two or even five cities . Then it should be put on dvd for all to see. At this point nothing has to be done the same as in the 80's. Fans and band would all benefit.

All I have to say to this is that Steve Perry will ALWAYS have my support, regardless of whatever he chooses to do in his life. He doesn't have to sing, he doesn't have to make new music for me, or tour, or do anything special, in order for me to keep being his fan. It's his choice, I'll still remain a fan forever for ALL things he has already done and given to me, as a fan :D

Now don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for him to sing, and make new music. I would buy it up in a heart beat, but from my point of view, I would rather it be HIS CHOICE that he sang because HE WANTED TO SING, He WANTED To make new music, NOT for the reason of some "pushy, demanding kind of fan" that says , if you don't keep giving me what I want, when I want it, then I'm out of here. I don't think ANY singer or celebrity would want that kind of fan, that is just my opinion anyway.

I'm just HAPPY he is doing another interview, so that we fans get to hear from him again! :D :D

Now that I've had my face in his hair, he doesn't have to do anything for me ever again either. j/k :D Seriously though, I would like Journey to continue on exactly how they are right now.....I think JSS (and Deen) give it that energy it needs full-time now. Also love to hear/see more solo work from Steve P......let that voice shine on its own. :D

OMG, strungout, don't you know that the face in the hair thing is just torture to those of us who haven't had the privilege? OK........ I'm over the jealousy now ( ) and agreeing with your post completely. Perry doesn't need Journey and now they've got the frontman that they can truly move on with. (but I really would like to put my face in his hair)

Those were the Against the Wall sessions, right? I think Perry said all the ATW songs were now released. But I don't think Nuno is on anything so maybe I am totally screwed up on this...

I don't think that's out yet j28. Keep in mind we've been told all previous stuff was already out from the earlier days and then all of a sudden, out comes more.

I don't think those are the against the wall sessions. I think the nuno stuff was after that because I remember hearing about them around the time of FTLOSM.

...I think this is correct...

And, Nuno seemed pretty PO'd that they were not on the album. There were some radio interviews around the time of "III Sides to Every Story" where he pretty much shrugs off the songs and the entire scenerio of working with Perry.

Monker,

Nothing could be farther from the truth, please explain where you got this crazy idea?..I'm not here to bash you, but would like to know where you got this thought from!...

Strange because in the interviews I heard with Perry, it was like they were as close as brothers. Portuguese twins or something... That's WAY too bad.

Speaking of FTLOSM- I finally heard that hour long writing session for Missing You. Jesus, anybody got any more stuff like that? I found it really cool to listen to. Interesting how quiet Perry sang those notes. He's not belting out at any point. That guy was a master. And though he cracks once or twice, it was clear that he still had it together vocally. Very interesting to me as a singer.

And on the avataar, if it offends, I really don't care. It was meant to be funny folks. Relax... Thanks to those that got some enjoyment out of it.

God damn, I would love to hear that.
Any chance of posting it on You Send it?
I actually emailed Nuno awhilw back via his MySpace about working with Steve. He replied and said that he wrote a couple of songs with Steve, and it was really up to Steve if it ever gets released or not. He also said he doubted very seriuosly if it ever sees the light of day.
I know the Nuno stuff is one of the few Perry things that have never been leaked.
I really wish Perry would have released Lost Angels and Somebody,Somewhere on the reissues. Both are really good tunes IMO.

Maybe he has some future plans for them. I'd like to think so. If he's been recording things off and on over the years(as we've heard from time to time) there might be a few more things he's done that we don't know anything about. We're hearing that he's been recording lately from a pretty reliable source(Joe Benson). Maybe he'll use Lost Angels, Let Go, gather up some secret gems and add a few new tracks for a CD. Not suggesting this is really happening, just speculating.
