Perry doesn't have to rejoin Journey to sing with them again. He doesn't have to tour. It would be nice if once in awhile if he would do a date or two or even five cities . Then it should be put on dvd for all to see. At this point nothing has to be done the same as in the 80's. Fans and band would all benefit.

All I have to say to this is that Steve Perry will ALWAYS have my support, regardless of whatever he chooses to do in his life. He doesn't have to sing, he doesn't have to make new music for me, or tour, or do anything special, in order for me to keep being his fan. It's his choice, I'll still remain a fan forever for ALL things he has already done and given to me, as a fan

Now don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for him to sing, and make new music. I would buy it up in a heart beat, but from my point of view, I would rather it be HIS CHOICE that he sang because HE WANTED TO SING, He WANTED To make new music, NOT for the reason of some "pushy, demanding kind of fan" that says , if you don't keep giving me what I want, when I want it, then I'm out of here. Speaking of Perry recording, he was doing some stuff with Nuno Bentencourt (Extreme) years ago. Did ANY of those see the light of day? That could've been amazing.

Those were the Against the Wall sessions, right? I think Perry said all the ATW songs were now released. But I don't think Nuno is on anything so maybe I am totally screwed up on this...

I don't think that's out yet j28. Keep in mind we've been told all previous stuff was already out from the earlier days and then all of a sudden, out comes more.

Speaking of FTLOSM- I finally heard that hour long writing session for Missing You. Jesus, anybody got any more stuff like that? I found it really cool to listen to. Interesting how quiet Perry sang those notes. He's not belting out at any point. That guy was a master. And though he cracks once or twice, it was clear that he still had it together vocally. Very interesting to me as a singer.

And on the avataar, if it offends, I really don't care. It was meant to be funny folks. Relax... Thanks to those that got some enjoyment out of it.

I really wish Perry would have released Lost Angels and Somebody,Somewhere on the reissues. Both are really good tunes IMO.

Maybe he has some future plans for them. I'd like to think so. If he's been recording things off and on over the years(as we've heard from time to time) there might be a few more things he's done that we don't know anything about. We're hearing that he's been recording lately from a pretty reliable source(Joe Benson). Maybe he'll use Lost Angels, Let Go, gather up some secret gems and add a few new tracks for a CD. Not suggesting this is really happening, just speculating.
