He just wants to stop slinging insults at BT. Andrew has wanted that to stop for a long time. I'm sure Journey wants it to stop. Can't u see the difference here?
Sure, JRox - but I still don't understand why an apology is needed. Having said that.... if Andrew wants the jokes and criticisms to stop, then that's reason enough. And there's no doubt that this will be a more interesting forum if the threads are about Journey and not about the politics between the two sites. As John said...who really cares anyway?
Matthew, I know ur an intelligent guy. Please use those brains here. U know it's not the band's fault that the announcement is delayed.
How do we know this?
There are legal matters going on here as Augeri is separated from the band. That takes time & negotiations. Lawyers are slow in these dealings as offers & counteroffers go back & forth. They sit around & consider this & that before responding reading up on caselaw & precedents, etc. But while the dealings go on, lawyers don't let anyone involved talk about it. The band doesn't want to keep the truth from us. But their hands are tied. Do u remember when Perry left & it took months for the announcement to come? It's the same thing. If u were a partner in a corp. & leaving & there were heated negotiations about who got what, u would be in the same exact situation. Ur lawyers would tell u not to talk about. Don't disrespect the band for something they can't control please.
Yes, I'm sure it is a complicated process. But Journey agreed to doing the interviews before the legalities were resolved and they gave MR the wrong estimate for when the interviews could be published...and the last announcement we did get was a bogus story about a "throat infection".
We all know what's coming so it's no big deal....but equally so far I'm not sure I can see that much 'respect' from the Journey organisation toward the few people who still give a shit...
He's not. He's just making an effort to unite fans. That's for the good of this board, the good of the band, & honestly, for the good of each one of us here too. Can't u see that?
Why would an apology from Deano to BT make any difference whatsoever to how well or badly I get on with other Journey fans?
