Did you tell him, "hey dumbass, her dad died. She's supposed to be depressed"?

AR wrote:Also, not everyone is "entitled" to health care. It DOES cost money. You want better health care? Get a better job, invest well. That's pretty good incentive. The harder you work, the more money you make, the better doctor you can see.

Plus we all are going to die. The sooner everyone faces that fact the happier we all can be. Stop the malpractice suits, your fucking 90 year old uncle is dead - it was no one's fault.

Now don't get me wrong, if you go in to have your tonsils taken out and find they cut off your scrotum......you MIGHT just have a case there.

so, what you are saying is that if you make minimum wage, you aren't worth saving? you are damn lucky your health care isn't based on "your"
opinion, if so, find your pine box now.

Restless leg syndrome isn't comparable to the twitches that you and I get. It is a very painful experience and shouldn't be dismissed.

I agree that too many people run to the doctor for the simplest things and definately should not expect an antibiotic every time they get a cold, they are doing more damage than good. But there are plenty of legitimate reasons to be seeing a physician. High blood pressure and high cholesterol being examples.

Just playing devils advocate here. I (and most nurses) are the WORST patients. My cholesterol is out of this world (no, it's not because I'm a fat hog--all hereditary) and I refuse to be one of those people who have to take medicine for the rest of my life. Besides that, I'm not old enough to have to take medicine the rest of my life! I'm in denial.
