The review seemed a bit generous, but I respect your opinion and explanations. Thanks.

I don't feel it's too generous. I simply love the album. I can't go on in a long winded dissertation (sp?) on the most minute of technical details, so I write both as a "pro" and a "fan."
But I never lie. If I didn't like something on the albums I review, you'll know it.
Thanks for reading!
saint John wrote:"The first 10 songs on the album are pure pop perfection. It’s always hard to find an album that is fitting of the description perfect, but Street Talk earned that title easily."
Just to clarify, I thought the above was a BIT too generous. I LOVE the album, but I'd never consider it "pure pop perfection." It's just a great album. I do, however, respect everyone who thinks it is. Again, good review.

Running Alone is cheesy, but other than that, it's a solid album.

But man, what a classic soul/pop/AOR album. Still love it to this day also.

I hope to have reviews of Frontiers, Escape, and Steve Perry's For The Love Of Strange Medicine in the next couple of weeks.
