more only what they would have accomplished with Fleischman. For what it's worth, his vocal style doesn't cut it for me either, but 99.9% of the singers would sound inferior compared to Perry. I always got the impression Fleischman was on the way out anyways, and Perry just happened to be #1 on the list. With Herbie Herbert managing, Journey would have likely done well with someone else singing--it just may not have turned into the "Journey" sound they became known for.

Sure does. And haven't they come a long way? What a great catalog they have. I find myself listening to not much else lately.
