Really ? I don't post that much because most of the topics are way overrated and too stupid to respond to. I do read them for entertainment on a daily basis and I've been here from the beginning.

I'd rather have this coming from you than from someone who's fully concious of what he/she sais.

mrsp wrote:The problem with being associated with Journey is ..well, being associated with Journey. These men are not honest, they do not have any morals, they are liars, cheaters, manipulators and care nothing about the fans or anyone else. Apparently the things that are most important to them are money and themselves. I have personally witnessed band members make derogatory comments about fans and employees. I have personally witnessed band members lie and deny. I have personally witnessed band members make lewd comments to a female fan and then laugh. These guys do not deserve respect. But evidently celebrity carries with it carte blanche to act however you want and someone will clean up your mess. The problem is eventually you alientate so many people, no one wants to clean up after you anymore. There's a scripture in the Bible that says: "Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character." (1 Cor. 15:33) Essentially, if you hang around folks of questionable character long enough, it will rub off on you and your character comes into question.
I hope that Mark and Cj can step back and take a good long look at the situation and decide if they truly want to continue to be associated with Journey. They are good peope but it will be difficult to remain so if they continue to be employed by such a questionable group of people.

BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Liked the reference to the bible by the way. This is what I've felt all along, and you said it with such eloquence. Thank you. This not only stands for Journey, but for everyone in life. This is a lesson that should run much deeper than just the band Journey.
Dont make me stick my pitchfork up your ass!

Rich Meyers is accusing me of doctoring tapes up last year. THAT is slander. Laura did the tapes for me as did someone else who i won't mention.

I didn't say anything about this, I'm speaking of your above posts to CJ only. Laura doctored tapes for you?

NO! Laura did the separation of the tracks. You are a fuckhead. NO one did any doctoring of any tapes except Journey. Keep bringing it up, I am sure the band loves you for it. You bring up the topic, I will respond. Very simple.

I'm a casual poster here and I have no inside scoop nor am I accusing you of anything Deano. you stated something above about Rich Myers accusing you of doctoring tapes and then said Laura did them for you, I was just trying to understand what you were saying. Doesn't matter anyway, Journey is dead and I no longer care really. Just wanted to defend CJ even though I don't know her, its kind of unfair to accuse people of stuff. Simple thing to do is to not let people post at your blog if you don't like what they say.

Just to clear things up a bit...At the beginning of TG,Dean sent me the mp3 files of a few songs from boots as well as the audio files from the Vegas DVD and what I did was to mix the tracks,as in having them both playing along (one in the left channel, the other in the right channel) for comparison puposes.
Because of my line of work (radio, studio) I had the technical means and the softwares to put things together and help people understand that the Vegas vocals were used in Journey's live concerts.

I was aware that some people said that Dean has been "doctoring" the mp3s,so before anything,I have checked that myself together with a sound engineer and the result was that nothing was doctored. For that to happen you have to own the studio recordings which wasn't the case.
But Journey had them,of course,so that's how they could separate(extract) the vocal tracks and use them as playback in concerts.
Basically, the band was live and the vocals were taped.

What I did,technically,was a simple demostration of a lip-synching case,nothing more,nothing less.

I was really in and out of the hospital a lot during this time, so I may not have all the timing correct, but how soon after TG hit, was Steve out?
If it was quite soon after, that's all I needed to really seal the deal. All of a sudden TG is going on that's when they dicide to let Steve A. go? Coincidence?

No problem,Dean,it was the right war to fight in...I'll certainly do it again.Anything for the truth.
Maybe some people had a hard time accepting the facts, but that's their problem.Ultimately, the truth was out and the effort was worth it.

Too bad the F & F "admirals" sunk the ship and fucked up the victory.
