I'm actually a lot less interested in pro football and basketball these days. I still love baseball.
Steroid abuse in the NFL is a lot more rampant than any other sport. Basketball is just boring anymore, not to mention that the NBA players are even bigger crybabies than any of the other pro sports. Baseball has its problems, too, but I've always loved it. I'm thinking the tougher steroid testing is having its effect on the home run totals, though.
I've never understood pro athletes wanting to artificially enhance their performance. I guess it comes down to being TOO competitive but I would think that a person should be totally embarrassed of themselves just from knowing that their performance wasn't really all them.
