Jeff Scott Solo...I like it.
I think Jeff's awesome (as I've said many times in the past!) I really got into the Soul Sirkus album, as well as Talisman! At the same time, you've gotta admit the Bad English albums kicked ass! They sold a lot of albums, but would have sold a lot more if the music scene hadn't changed to that grunge-shit that was big at the time!!! Just want one more album...
Agreed Jimbo. I did like BE a lot. Fuckin Grunge scene!
The grunge scene ruined a lot of great artists! I do think that a lot of the music at the time was starting to sound alike with all the LA bands, but a lot of great bands (Giant, Hugo's solo albums Etc...) never stood a chance when they came onto the scene! If you guys have never heard Giant...Go download something right NOW and check them out! Dan Huff was on lead vocals as well as guitars, and was awesome!!! He's now one of the biggest producers in the music biz. It's a shame we had to listen to Curt Cocaine, and miss out on new artists like these guys!!!

Jim, I'm with you on BE- they were a helluva band, and I'd love a new album from them (I think, however, there's a better chance that Journey will record a grunge album themselves than this happening...)
...and speaking of grunge, you can't blame Seattle for what happened to the music industry in the 90's. It was one small (yet very loud) scene that didn't last long enough to wipe out all the more melodic rock bands. When the same thing happened in the 70's with punk and the 80's multitude of scenes (new wave, new romantic, ska,etc...) traditional arena rock thrived alongside it. Nope, two things killed our beloved rock bands- excess (TOO big and too much-everything from budgets to drug use to hair- the music was too slick, too commercial, too corporate...etc, etc....) and (drum roll please) RAP music! You wanna know who killed our radio stars? The rap market. The same suburban kids who used to listen to rock to rebel and be hip started realizing the shit their parents listened to was a little bit too much like the rock they were hearing on the radio, and they defected over to hip hop. When we lost the kids, we lost everything. Say what you will about grunge- it was STILL rock and roll. Loud, aggressive, angry and DEPRESSING rock , but rock nevertheless. Nope, I'm blaming Dr. Dre and his ilk.
But hey, like many on these boards have said...who's having the last laugh? Arena rock is having a renaisance, and grunge bands are a fleeting memory (Pearl Jam not withstanding)...that damn RAp shit is still with us though...
