I'm not sure where you learned your arithmetic, but in the schools I went to, once or twice does not add up to "always".

He has every right in the world to play those songs live and profit from it. Hell, TRIBUTE bands do it...why not a guy who actually was there?? He's making no bones that he IS Van Halen (like some other so called bands do these days). Cut the guy some slack...

I agree. But try telling Eddie Van Halen that. He is the one who needs to cut Michael Anthony some slack. Eddie only thinks about Eddie. Period.
Sometimes....but yes, he is the singer.Trailblazer wrote:Ummm, do you feel the same way about Dave's shrieks?
vhroth wrote:Why don't you cut Eddie some slack. He fought cancer, went through a divorce and struggled with drug addiction. Instead of MA giving Eddie some support he took off and toured with Hagar to make more money because he was tired of sitting around. MA comes off as a nice guy but it seems to me he only thinks of himself. Then he expects VH to invite him back and wonders why they didn't.

Who was it that first decided to work with Sammy Hagar? It was Eddie Van Halen. So if Michael Anthony decided to work with Sammy when Eddie was wasting times drinking and drugging, how can anyone blame Michael for wanting to jam with Sammy? Is it okay for Eddie to jam with Sammy when he wants to, but not okay for Michael to do the same?

MA started touring with Hagar in 2001. Eddie didn't talk to Hagar about touring with VH until the end of 2003 because Eddie was recovering from cancer while MA was out making money with Hagar.

Get over it and tour with the original band! THAT'S what (most of ) the real fans want.

Someone mentioned they looked on Ticketmaster for a ticket and they are still avaliable. Thats true,if you want to buy 1 single ticket you can still get a halfway decent seat. But if you want 2 or 4 tickets to the shows that aren't sold out yet you'll be behind the stage or maybe nose bleeds at the very top of the arena. Look for yourself.

I'm sure it's both Dave and Eddie.
Has The Other Half sold out any of the theaters they are playing this fall besides the VIP?
Fuck Eddie Van Salesman. He's a dickhead.

vhroth, this is a post you made on 2/4/2007. Quite a different tune you're singin' now, dude!
yah so they replace him with a fat kid and are probably paying him in Kryspy Kremes you got to love eddievhroth wrote:MA has plenty to do this fall. He will be on tour with his own band The Mad Anthony Express playing Eddie and Dave's music since he can't write his own music and release his own CD. Also he will be playing in The Other Half with Hagar playing Eddie and Hagar's music so he's going to make a small fortune this fall.
It wouldn't surprise me if MA wrote a tell all book about VH since he already betrayed the band. MA wasn't fired from VH,he went out and started 2 new bands playing VH music so VH found another bass player. MA seems like a nice down to earth guy but I think he took Eddie for granted.

Judging by ticket sales in Saint Louis, more people are in Michael Anthony's corner. There are still huge amounts of good tickets available, and it's the fourth day of ticket sales. Hannah Montana, on the other hand, sold out in 15 minutes at the same venue.
