Several years ago, my sister ran into Lester signing autographs for some store doing a grand opening or something to that effect. Knowing what a big fan I was of him, she went to get me an autographed photo. When she got to the front of the line, she asked him to sign it, "Don't Stop Believin', Lester Hayes" (knowing I would enjoy the Journey reference).
He laughed at that and ended up signing, "John, your sister loves you. Lester Hayes".

You better believe it. Some on the finest live Rock guitar playing ever recorded. He was just an awesome jam machine back in the day.

Bang a Gong- Power Station. I love the solo that Andy Taylor plays.
Grand Illusion- Styx. Cool sound on Tommy Shaw's guitar (wah)
While My Guitar Gently Weeps- The Beatles. Clapton played a great solo on it.
Comfortably Numb- Pink Floyd. Great feeling on that solo, great tone.
OH, and the solo that Steve Vai does in the movie Crossroads with Ralph Machio (hahaha-yeah right). GREAT playing on that. I forget who played the real part against Vai. I THINK it was Ry Cooder.
Totally screams:
