When I heard this my initial thought was that the report was mistaken or that someone was messing with me. My manager mentioned one of the sites that I supposedly visited: "www.lovegirlz".
Never heard of it. Never visited it. Or had I? As we continued discussion the thought of "lovegirlz" kept ringing in my head. I then had an epiphany. I recalled that Saint John's avatar had never loaded while browsing MR.com on my work pc. It would however load on my home pc. I always thought that to be odd. It made me wonder if certain graphics that were linked FROM MR.com TO certain sites were making it appear that I was visiting those sites.
I went home after work - thankful that I still had a job but upset that I was labeled "Porn Surfer". I immediately came here to check out Saint John's avatar. I right-clicked it to see its address and wouldn't you know it. I was right:

So there you have it. Saint John's avatar has made me a porn surfer at work.
Andrew has always said, "This is YOUR site - it is what you lot make of it." This entices people to use adult graphics for avatars and signatures. Well, a few months ago myself and a couple others expressed that we didn't want to see that stuff - that this is a JOURNEY board and that we view it from work and don't need to have graphics of women's breasts bouncing around our work monitors. The response was to STFU. Andrew in his wisdom saw that it was a reasonable request and helped get things cleaned up. Unfortunately, in my case it just isn't clean enough.
MR.com is NOT an adult site however allowing links to REAL adult sites makes MR.com adult by association. And now I'm a porn surfer by association. Very disappointing. My record has been tarnished and any hope of a decent pay increase is certain to have been dashed. I really have no one to blame but myself however I can't help but be irked by all of it.
