Everyonce in a while you can catch Augeri puttin' some Brooklyn into his singing. You can't really catch it here but that's one of the reasons I liked him. He wasn't a completely copycat.

The band completely underutilized him after Arrival. They just gave up on originality when they decided to just make J a touring machine. A waste of talent "ALL THE WAY"! :)

In the same period, they had 6 albums with Perry (78-86 versus 98-06).

Had they toured a bit less and worked on some new music, his voice would've lasted longer.

The way Perry is held in such high regard for his body of work and the way he manages his private life and personal affairs puts me in mind of Jodie Foster. Nuff said really...

You mean Perry's Gay???
;)

Just jokin.

You mean Foster's gay?

Gonna simplify the process for everyone. No youtube necessary.

1. Steve Perry - Retired
2. Steve Augeri - Replaced
3. Jeff Scott Soto - Fired
4. Arnel Pineda - Remains to be seen

Any questions.

Stop right fucking there. :x Perry is better on his worst day than that bone smoker was on his best. What a hit or miss performer Mercury was live. Stunning at times, dreadful at others. Perry was always stunning.

Good summation. Here's mine:

1. Perry - Running Alone.
2. Augeri - Remember Me?
3. Soto - Stand Up!
4. Pineda - Thought I left The Zoo!
