Everyonce in a while you can catch Augeri puttin' some Brooklyn into his singing. You can't really catch it here but that's one of the reasons I liked him. He wasn't a completely copycat.
The band completely underutilized him after Arrival. They just gave up on originality when they decided to just make J a touring machine. A waste of talent "ALL THE WAY"!

In the same period, they had 6 albums with Perry (78-86 versus 98-06).
Had they toured a bit less and worked on some new music, his voice would've lasted longer.
