I've never had one before but I woke up feeling sick to my stomach this morning at about 4:30. Tried to go to the bathroom and just couldn't do anything. By the time I got back in bed, I felt much worse and we ended up leaving for the emergency room around 6:30 and spent about five hours there. Anyway, I have a kidney stone that is on the borderline size-wise to be able to pass it on my own. Otherwise, they will have to go in and bust it up.but you'll be fine ....and if it ever happens again you will know exactly what it is!Good luck and hang in there bud!
I felt so bad this morning that I actually thought I might have cancer or something like that. The pain was a little higher than I thought it would be for a kidney problem but that's what it turned out to be.
I'm still a bit sick to my stomach but I feel quite a bit better.
Wow, who would guess that would do it? I know there are stones that are made from too much calcium and also too much citric acid. Hopefully Dave can just modify his diet and that'll be that.
Dave if the pain gets too bad, just hit your toe with a hammer and you'll forget all about the kidney stone.

Seriously, if you aren't able to go to work because of it, take the pain meds, there's no need sitting around in pain. You might be right about passing it quicker without them though, so I understand your hesitance.
