Jeff has a more soulful version..The hooks Perry is known for is present in the middle of the song, the end was ok.. When Jeremey sang it sounded as if he was just singing. It sounded more like Journey voice wise, but the soulful feeling wasn't there.. But,at the end of the song I was damn impressed..! This is where I think Jeremey took Jeff over.It had the Perry type ending..Jeff's is good, but Jeremey's blew me out of the water..If Jeremey would have done what Jeff did throughout the song and then ended it the way he did,I would really have been blown away..I'm not taking shots at anyone,it just my opinion..I love both singers,I just happen to listen to it on my long drive to my family for Xmas.. Thoughts?

I had it on a cassette tape years ago, but I haven't known where that tape is for at least 15 years now. From what I recall, I think Neal played a harder Rocking solo on that version than the one thats on the box set?

I could write this song in freshman college Englisg class. This is a piece of shit and if offered to perry, he would would probably blast Friga in his package.

i see it being a last-second song written just for an event, but if it was for an album, it needed a LOT of work.

Yes. This song was a one off type deal and written for the Virginia debacle, errr, event. Admittedly, Friga appeared to go read his kids 4th grade Pilgrim book, and stole a couple phrases out of it, but who cares? Everyone here should know by now this song was hastily done. I do think Neal sounded like wheezy crap on it, Cains keys were ok, and JSS was without a doubt the best part of it. And yes, I would say JSS sucked python cock if he stunk it up.
