See my perry thread the other day?
I can actually talk about the music, not Jeff's hip swiveling or the roll of dimes in perry's pocket.
Red13JoePa wrote:Oh yea
that really makes the case for Neal being the bad guy.
oops.
Jeremey said it himself why the fuck can't "frig and 'fro" cultees take a cue from that and let it go?
Red13JoePa wrote:Amazing how Augeri has gone from being the biggest human dart board in the history of this board (well, aside from Fyre) to now being this aggrieved Saint. It fits the agenda, though I guess.
He was a crippled singer who didn't have his one instrument and the band did nothing but deny the reports of tapes on his behalf.

You know Frig and Fro don't use to do things "in your face", so to speak.![]()
yep..Cain was pretty condescending with that...very dumb thing to say.mistiejourney wrote:A great story about a great guy (and I've never even met Jeremey). You have to have respect for a guy like that.
Maybe I shouldn't mention this, but Friga thinks the fans are pining away, waiting for a better life? It's probably a great song, but what an elitist attitude!

They flew to San Francisco the third week of June. Earlier that month, the band had fired Soto, who had replaced Steve Augieri about a year before. Soto was friendly with Hunsicker, and contacted him after he heard that the band was courting him.
"He e-mailed me: 'I hope they treat you better than me,' " Hunsicker said.

He recalled a writing session with Cain, who had pulled out a song about fans -- a blue-collar, mullet-rock song.
"He said, 'I could really see this being a song about you, pining your days away ... waiting for a better life ahead.' " Hunsicker said.

Hey, weren't they always called "Corporate Rock" Back in the 80's. Now we know how true it is!

Red I was actually just jokingly being sweet to ya for a minute there...sorry you couldnt see that...just like you couldnt see the disclaimer I have had under my AV...maybe time for some new specs? ...and no..no identity crisis...just was tired of TVL and explaining it to folks... and I also thought it would be funny if certain other forums had to change the title of some of their "love" threads about meRed13JoePa wrote:Nah, I simply don't give a hell and am secure in knowing I'm right.

I wasn't mad, Regan. Just saying I didn't pick up on it until now.
A microscopic disclaimer at the bottom doesn't do the job as well as just changing your name to IUsedToBeTVL.

I agree.
The guy is human. And he's been through the marriages that we make joke fodder here. He's lived through their endings.

You aren't alone, I actually thought the same thing - that Neal knows what being on the road with Journey can do to a family.
