See my perry thread the other day?

I can actually talk about the music, not Jeff's hip swiveling or the roll of dimes in perry's pocket.

So can I. Give it a up JoePa, I'm not going to apologize for appreciating great stage presence. Besides with all your comments on what Rolie and Perry have in their pants, seems you've noticed more than I.

BTW, more of a Lats gal.  :P

that really makes the case for Neal being the bad guy.

oops.

Jeremey said it himself why the fuck can't "frig and 'fro" cultees take a cue from that and let it go?

It's just the way they handle things, man.

Jeremey seems really grateful about his brief contact with fame and fortune.

Look at Augeriand JSS....

You know Frig and Fro don't use to do things "in your face", so to speak.

Amazing how Augeri has gone from being the biggest human dart board in the history of this board (well, aside from Fyre) to now being this aggrieved Saint. It fits the agenda, though I guess.

He was a crippled singer who didn't have his one instrument and the band did nothing but deny the reports of tapes on his behalf.

Maybe I shouldn't mention this, but Friga thinks the fans are pining away, waiting for a better life? It's probably a great song, but what an elitist attitude!
yep..Cain was pretty condescending with that...very dumb thing to say.

Agreed.
Asshatted sentiments outa Cain.

Good on J for calling it, too.

They flew to San Francisco the third week of June. Earlier that month, the band had fired Soto, who had replaced Steve Augieri about a year before. Soto was friendly with Hunsicker, and contacted him after he heard that the band was courting him.

"He e-mailed me: 'I hope they treat you better than me,' " Hunsicker said.

Thought that was pretty classy of JSS also. Especially after just being screwed over, himself.

Ya know this is a good article. And it paints everyone in a decent picture. But remember that we have heard more of the inside track with Jeremey. I think this article is written and edited to keep Jeremey AND Journey in a positive light. There would be nothing to gain at this point by doing anything else. Jeremey is now theorizing that Neal was doing him a favor because he realizes that, in fact, Neal did.

And although Cain's comment sounds stupid, I would be willing to bet that he meant specifically the idea of singing in a tribute band to a small audience part-time while working a day job with (at one time or another) dreams of being a "star" singing professionally.

I agree.
The guy is human. And he's been through the marriages that we make joke fodder here. He's lived through their endings.

I hope that I am not out of place in saying this, because I consider Jeremey to be (an online) friend. Maybe when Sabrina and the unborn baby arrived Neal took a look, thought about it and decided "we can't do this, as perfect as this guy is for the job it wouldn't be right."

He recalled a writing session with Cain, who had pulled out a song about fans -- a blue-collar, mullet-rock song.

"He said, 'I could really see this being a song about you, pining your days away ... waiting for a better life ahead.' " Hunsicker said.
."

They already wrote that song, "A better life" :? Interesting pic of Arnel with blond hair!

Nah, I simply don't give a hell and am secure in knowing I'm right.

And why did you change you're name, TVL? I just figured out that was you.

This board has more poster identity crises than most, I guess.

I wasn't mad, Regan. Just saying I didn't pick up on it until now.
A microscopic disclaimer at the bottom doesn't do the job as well as just changing your name to IUsedToBeTVL.
