HELL YES!!
I'm midway through the 2nd season of dvds (have watched most episodes on TV, but love going back and seeing them all in sequence)VERY underrated show- David kelly's finest work...The SHAT is fuckin brilliant!
DENNY CRANE!
...lock and load.......
Yes. Kick's the dogshit out of
Ally McBeal or the
Practice.
The Practice didn't get good at all until Spader arrived in season 8.
I own all the DVDs too and the replay value is incredible. And I'm torn. As good as Shatner is (and he's one of the major pieces of its foundation), ultimately, I'd have to say that he is eclipsed by the brilliance of Spader. Shatner's funny and he Denny Crane is the ideal character (and what an original character!) but for all of his emotion, hilarity, and complexity, he doesn't quite match up to Mr. Shore.
They're the best TV tag-team since... uh... er... well. They might be the best, in my opinion.
