Hey, thanks for that! As it happens, I was just looking for a photo of George Lynch's skull n bones guitar to compare it to this miniature replica:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0198944072

and he uses it in that video! Yes, Dokken kicked Freddy's ass! :P

I'll be honest. I'm all for religious freedom, but personally? I could never take Scientology seriously at all ever since James Spader's character Alan Shore laid a verbal K.O. on them on Boston Legal (kickass show! Any fans?).

Yes. Kick's the dogshit out of Ally McBeal or the Practice. The Practice didn't get good at all until Spader arrived in season 8.

I own all the DVDs too and the replay value is incredible. And I'm torn. As good as Shatner is (and he's one of the major pieces of its foundation), ultimately, I'd have to say that he is eclipsed by the brilliance of Spader. Shatner's funny and he Denny Crane is the ideal character (and what an original character!) but for all of his emotion, hilarity, and complexity, he doesn't quite match up to Mr. Shore.

They're the best TV tag-team since... uh... er... well. They might be the best, in my opinion.

I wouldn't disagree with that- It;s definitely Spader's show, and he is f'in brilliant! Some of the subtle physical shit he does is absolutely priceless! I just love that after getting mocked for three decades, the Shat came out swinging and proved that - what do you know- he CAN act his ass off! (and that's a sizeable ass!)

Yeah. He was bombasted for his acting tactics on Star Trek and yet now he's portraying one of the most original and complex characters on television -- for which he has won two Emmys (I think).

The show is awesome -- I haven't watched but maybe less than 10 episodes, but Shatner rules, and eventually I'll catch up to it on DVD.

After Tom's ramble he should trade Katy in for Brittany and then have matching straight jackets designed by Hollywood's finest for their evening wear.

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Exactly. Tom Cruise isn't helping dick, except himself. And even that's becoming sketchy because he's turning people off with his insanity. There's no message, except maybe "continue giving me money".

It's sad. I used to love watching his movies. Now he just creeps me out.
