Before I had health insurance, I used to go to Urgent Care Centers. Most towns have them. They're really good at providing basic care for the uninsured. Average bill where I live is around $50 per visit. That amount is what most people pay in health club dues.

Obviously there are times you will need more extensive care, with a specialist whatever. Most doctors provided you offer some reasonable upfront down payment are more than happy to work with you so long as you don't take your sweet time paying the remaining balance.

Health insurance quote with for myself and 2 7 year old children, all female. Females btw are charged more for health insurance than males, so if you have male kids you may luck out even lower.

Watch out liberals, rational thoughts and facts have arrived!

...and can we throw out the word "ignorant" for a bit? It's incredibly vague and useless.

Well then I guess all those millions of people back in the 90s who were earning good with good benefits in what they thought was a solid company shouldn't have had kids either. Damn, are you really that shallow?

We already had a Clinton in there, lets move on..Why would anyone want Bills wife in there, what's wrong with people..We have had a male president from day 1 why does everyone need change all the time..? I'm not sexiest, but its been a tradition for a couple hundred years since ummm Pres Washington, why change that,I mean WTF,? Do people think Hilary F'n Clinton is the answer? If Hillary wins, which would make me wake up a Mexican, would that make Bill they 1st lady now? What's his title going to be,1st biotch?

I'm not going to spend the time or the bandwidth to show you why this is bullshit, you obviously know nothing of what you're trying to sound informed, but if you think this is good, go for it.

No, I'm not shallow, I'm responsible, or at least I'm learning to be. I have lived through circumstances you can't even imagine, so don't even.. If my job ended tomorrow, I would go and get another job, hell three jobs if I had too, to pay my way. I've worked retail, check out girl, waitress, shit cleaner picker upper at my mother's hospital you name it. I'd do it again if I had to.

That's easy to do when you have no one but yourself to take care of. I worked a few of those when I was single too. You're completely clueless. (How's that for a change from ignorant or stupid?)

It doesn't take away the idea that we really are responsible for our lives. When we depend on others, like our government for our creature comforts, we're at their mercy and that's not a healthy place to be.

Hmmm...A funny pic or being constantly told how unintelligent, stupid, and uninformed you are because you're conservative or Republican. Yeah, that's really highbrow humor there.

I'd be happy with either Clinton or Obama, probably leaning towards Clinton tho. As for insurance, I have it through work. Funny thing is I have great coverage and am still in debt with medical bills.... go figure

I won't be all that disappointed if Obama is elected. For me, between he and McCain it's a tossup. Either would be better than Hillary, in my opinion.

My vote is either Ron Paul or Garfield the Cat. Leaning toward Ron Paul. Garfield stays in his cat box to avoid the splut on Mondays.

The man can't rock that hard and be a liberal, ya know? Situations this grave call for some head knokken! Razz

And actually, I'm just a conservative -- not a Repbulican. These days, the terms mean two completely different things.

It's my non-humble opinion that most Republicans of today are the Democrats of 30-40 years ago and today's Democrats are no better than Socialists in sheep's clothing.

I completey agree with the highlighted portion of your post and don't completely disagree with the rest. I was more inclined to the Republican way of thinking up until Reagonomics and Daddy Bush and I'm nowhere near as liberal as the extreme leftwing element of the Democratic party.

Well you may not be completely hopeless either, but I'm still all about Hill this year. I'd love a Hillary/Obama ticket so that Hillary's influences on established connections can ease the changes into the mechanisms without throwing a wrench into the cogs and gears. Over her first four years she can start the gears changing direction. Over her second term she can start to show people how much smoother they run in that direction. Then Obama can take over and straighten out the inner mechanisms that allowed this country to get in the shape it's in right now.
