a little trivia about that moment in time: i believe that's ross in the orange shirt/white pants walking up in the background. i met jonathan for the first time, shortly before that pic was taken. i was walking around outside, looking for some shade, when a van pulled up in front of me. pat morrow, journey's road manager, rolls his window down & says, "hey, i've got someone i want you to meet!" jonathan walks around from the passenger side & pat introduces us. being painfully shy, i probably didn't say much more than, "hi, i like your music." pat then escorted us into the hospitality area called the frogeteria. i was thrilled that i was in the shade AND in the presence of band members!

Then the 2 of you got into the fan club part. Lucky gals, indeed. I was right there in those days in San Francisco, too. Never got caught up in the Journey or music scene. Too busy trying to get ahead in the business world, I guess.
