Soto All The Way wrote:OK, I'll be the dick......Only because Dean has picked me to berate lately for noe reason, but that is his style. Poke and run and hide.....JT is cool. Sure he can be tough. You know how many "Hey, can u get me back to meet the band from 45-60 year old men and women now days that look like they should be in a Vegas Tour Bus Convention????" He helped me out s few times. Helped my son Tyler with Deen and Jim too. I'm sure that the band truly likes JT or they would not keep him around. He does his jobs. Obviously they are not for giving many chnaces to people who can't do their job or fit in!!! So I oubt they dilike him Dean.
With all the venom and rath that Deano has spewed around here, I think JT was right. I don't care where he was. He obviously had orders from Journey management at some level to keep the trouble making loud mouth out of the concert. Need I say more??? You could spend hours here cutting and pasting remarks of him publicly humiliating Jon and Neal. So, Neal being the leader and possibly also realing from Tapegate still...said keep him out. Ticket or no ticket, they don't have to let you in. Read the back of any ticket. If they see you as a trouble maker or trouble in gerneral, you're out.
Dean cost this band hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions with the whole SA thing. I would keep him out too if it were my band and I had an individual like JT to handle it.....Sorry, I see JT, Journey and the whole thing as positive keeping Dean away from the band. What do you think the meet and greet would be like if Deano and Neal met, or Jon, or if Ross has loyalty, Ross too.....I'm surprised Deen had dinner with the dude persoanlly. He should be loyal to the band and the wishes of the band to keep this trouble maker away from them. I'm very surprised.
JT being loud or not, he gave Dean the warning that someone told him to give. I doubt, JT has a sole vendetta over SA towards Deano. Deano has never been positive about anything around here. Lately he has been way out of line with many peole about alot of things. I think he got what he derserves. I'm sure Dean didn't have any alcohol on board either. I mean, he never brags here about "rolling in to the show with a case on board" or anything like that huh? JT, good job!!! I praise you. Personally, I would made a bigger spectacle out of it and made it look like he was fighting so you could have maybe popped his shoulder out of place and maybe had his head hit a wall or two on the way out. Way to go JT!!!! Keep up the good work. Keep Journey safe from trouble making assholes like some we know!!!!![]()
We all have to remember that there is ALWAYS two sides to the story!, I'm sure JT's would be much different and probably even better!!!

I couldn't imagine the band being happy about any of that... so where is the big surprise? And as far as handling the situation with class, I'm sure the band might say the same about Deano. I'm not sure what anyone expected their reaction to be. And JT works for Journey. He was obviously acting as instructed.

Soto would have never been asked to help out because the fraud would have continued..Soto All The Way wrote:Dean cost this band hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions with the whole SA thing.

In front of a baby and the mother? Oh come on. There is a right way and a wrong way for things to be handled. If someone acted this way towards one of them with their child in the presence of it - all shit would hit the fan and lawyers on speed dials would be getting calls.

I agree with you on that. I'm not saying JT handled it correctly. I'm just saying I'm not surprised to hear that the band didn't welcome him after what has gone down in the past few months...

Sounds like he's alright with the band, if he was hanging out with Castronovo and chatting it up.

Except for me....where were you? Dean was trying to get you to come see me but apparently it didn't work out.

Rockindeano wrote:People, this had really nothing to do with Journey. It's very personal. Last year, Toomey didn't like my backstage demeanor. I was out of control a few times but really harmless. So I was rummaging through Lippards beer cooler in LA....who gives a shit?
Toomey hates me because he knows I have a voice here, and thanks to the internet, a very loud one. What happened in Tapegate simply happened. Tough. That's the way it goes. For all you people that followed TG, you will know I was a guest many times after SA was let go. There is no animosity with Neal and I, or Ross and I. Can't say for sure about Friga, but who cares? Many here were recipients of passes that I gave you, so feel free to pull the knife out of my back.
Frankly, it was a very fun time for me getting in that douche's face. I would like nothing more than to meet him one to one someplace, but whatever. The band may not like him personally, but he is good for them. Fuck, they are grown men who need babysitters most times. He is a hard ass, and while I think he is a dick, I believe he does a good job. I forgot to mention in our yelling match, he busts out with the "You were so drunk you fell off our tour bus last year." I laughed and then he mentioned the "you are a troublemaker for this band" and that's when I said straight to his puss, "I saved this band's ass!" He didn't say a fucking word.
So, there you have it. He didn't have any orders, that came straight from him. If that moron knew that Ross, Neal and I partied together he would soil his panties.
PS- soto all the way, LOL, I don't even bother reading your posts. Not worth the time.
