I don't think they'll put him in at 80% (did you SEE those splits? )
and I wouldn't expect them to.
The question is...can they pull it off without him?...great leader that he is!!!
He has a calming affect on Rasheed (lord knows he needs that) and
he gives RIP and Prince the confidence they need to get going.
To make matters worse Dwight Howard, great player that he is, is HOT on their trail!!!

I don't know if I can watch!!! May the best PLAYERS win!!!

GOD, I hope it's the PISTON'S

CONGRATS !!!!!! MG, Great Game :D

THANK YOU!!!! TOTALLY UNEXPECTED.......DID YOU SEE CHAUNC coaching from the BENCH???!!
I'm so excited right now, I can't even CRITIQUE the Piston's and TRUST ME...they were BAD in the
first half!!!

Doesn't matter, Its all about the Win!!

The last half....YES!!!! The last few seconds, Orlando UP by one!!! Prince scores w/8.9 left. Orlando
misses AND commits foul...but oh well...game over!!! TRULY UNEXPECTED....Magic BENCH, AWESOME!!!
Don't know what's up w/Howard, but I FULLY expect him to come back fighting!!!
The last half of the GAME was all the excitement you would expect out of a playoff game, much like Lakers/Jazz
last half......but the first half was PURE PISTON POO-POO!!!

Hey, it's not all bad. I did have the pleasure of watching Barry Sanders' illustrious career! He is the GREATEST running back my eyes have ever seen, on ANY level! Even Barry was smart enough to get the hell away from the Lions

I'm a Cowboys fan but Sanders would've left Emmitt's career rushing numbers in the dust if he had kept playing.

Back to Basketball!!

This is what I'm talking about w/Lebron. When his court joins, he is a POWERHOUSE!!
This is EXACTLY what he did to the PISTONS in game 3, Game 4 etc. last year
You just can NEVER count him out. But he is so INCONSISTANT, you just NEVER KNOW!!! VERY
HARD DUDE to read, When he's GOOD, he's GREAT...When he's BAD, he's USELESS!!
He's NO MJ and he's no KG either!!! But he Sure laid it on them tonight!!! Big Ben
Good Job Cleveland!!

Celts....don't let them even the series!!!

I like Emmitt Smith and thought he was a very good player. That said, Barry Sanders was a FAR superior running back! While Emmitt may be the NFL rushing leader, he's not in the top 5 running backs in the history of the NFL! Emmitt was a product of one of the best offensive lines, EVER assembled, and was surrounded by GREAT players. Sanders was on one dreadful team after another, and still managed to do things that made the jaw drop. Two totally different players on two totally different teams. The Cowboys were great because of the system they ran and their offensive line. I will forever say that Troy Aikman is the worst QB in the history of the NFL to get into the hall of fame!

I don't think you can call the leading scorer in the league inconsistant. Yes.....he's had 2 bad games. And tonight was better but not typical LeBron. I watch all their games and he only had ONE bad game in the season. There is only so much one man can do. But inconsistant he is not.

Lebron has had more than TWO bad games!! Have you seen Kobe??? He's a CONSISTANTLY GOOD SCORER...does that always mean a "W" for LA? NO...it required the work of the rest of the team. NOW, they are a team!! LeBron DOES NOT do well when his court DOES NOT do well!!
Can't count on him....INCONSISTANT!!! I'm talking PRMARILY in high Pressure situations!!! Scroll to post FURTHER up!!!

Okay....so I guess he should be able to play one on five every game?? Which is practically what he does. Kobe has better people around him. Lebron's TEAM is inconsistant. Here is his game by game scoring. Can you point out the inconsistancy?? LeBron has single handedly carried this team through every game.

And to that I would say that LeBron is the leading 4th quarter scorer this year as well. And considering that EVERYONE on every team, every fan, and every sportscaster knows who will have the ball to finish off the game.......I'd say he was pretty consistant there as well.

Well I've still yet to see how you can call him inconsistant. Just not a valid argument.

How about this playoff game??

Cavaliers beat Pistons in double overtime thriller

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Detroit Pistons 109-107 in double overtime on Thursday to take a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

LeBron James, who contributed a career-high 48 points, scored all his side's final 25 points, including the game-winner with 2.2 seconds to go.

"I just wanted to try to be aggressive," James told reporters of the shot that put the Cavaliers within one game of the NBA finals.

"I kind of seen there was an opening and I wanted to attack." he added. "I was able to get to the lane, avoid a couple of defenders and get the ball up on the backboard."

Detroit's Chauncey Billups then missed a shot to end the contest.

Game Six is in Cleveland on Saturday. The winner of the best-of-seven series will meet the Western Conference champions San Antonio Spurs.

James made 18 of 33 shots from the field and connected on 10 free throws.

Richard Hamilton led Detroit with 26 points, Billups had 21 and Chris Webber 20.

The Pistons enjoyed a six-point lead with three minutes to go in regulation, but James brought the Cavaliers back, scoring on a dunk with nine seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

Cleveland went up by four in the first extra period before free throws by Rasheed Wallace and Billups forced a second overtime.

Webber put Detroit on top 107-104 with a field goal and a free throw with 1:28 remaining, but James was not finished.

He drilled a three-pointer with 1:14 to go to tie the score at 107-107 and then got the game-winner.

"I have always told (my team mates) that if they can get me even close to win the game, I am going to do my best to do that, and we accomplished that tonight."

I have read the thread. And I stand by my statement that calling LeBron inconsistant is just not accurate. Then you said when he's good he's great and when he's bad he's useless. Again....just not true. His bad games are better than alot of players good games. Then you stated that you meant the playoffs and high pressure situations and again I say show me the facts to back it up. And I showed you more than one example of where he was consistant and able to perform in high pressure situations.

I'm just asking for facts to back up your claims of inconsistancy and especially in high pressure situations.

Now I'm off to bed and to start thinking about Game 4!!

And I don't know what more I can offer you...when KING JAMES shoots 24 times and makes 6 goals...I say INCONSISTANT...when he takes 21 shots and makes 8, again, inconsistant...here's one and Cleveland won...he made 25 attempts and made 11..I-N-C-O-N-S-I-S-T-A-N-T!! (not bad though) Just saying
if you're going to claim ROYALTY...the rest of us expect it!!! Look, I know you love your team....NO DISRESPECT intended. I'm looking
at the BIG picture and I STAND by the inconsistant claim!! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/p ... atsId=3704
BTW..GOOD LUCK to you!!!

Just so you know.....
I was ALWAYS referring to the playoffs...I DIDN'T CHANGE MY MIND!!! I clarified that for YOU since you were not in the original conversation!!
I don't type anything I don't mean!!!

The Underlined portion is pretty much true of A LOT of players, including LJ!!! Some teams can just render some players USELESS!!! In this case I was referring to LeBron!!! Have you NEVER witnessed it?
