Yeah, they rock while playing Richrath songs. They need to start calling themselves "Snoozewagon"

I would have gone, but we have our own little family fireworks tradition that I couldn't blow off. It was kind of funny, because from where we were sitting to watch Buffalo Grove's fireworks before they started, we could hear a Journey tribute band playing at Wheeling Family Fest. Some major eye rolling came from my husband when I started singing.

But, as I was making my way towards the front from all the way in the back, a shitload of people were singing Take It On The Run. So most, if not nearly all, were there for them after all. As Diamond Dave would say, "Look at all the people here tonight."

Oh, get over it. Richrath spends his days huddled around a fire sipping Night Train and waiting for his monthly royalty checks. If you ever decide to become a democrat maybe you could go join him.![]()
The moral of the story is that these guys are still a huge draw in certain parts of the country...Chicago, their home town, being one of them.

Yep, almost as believable as 500k buying the new Journey album...

More like, 50k went to RibFest. REO just happened to be there and most people weren't ready to leave just yet.
