I believe I can handle eating such weird shit. besides, it's still food and not shit. it's all about whether you let your imagination get the best of you. I've been in the reserves where they had us blindfolded and eat stuff that we don't what they were. our CO would psyche us out saying we're eating crap and could here some of my mates barfing. it was nothing but corncobs.

I've been also in restaurants where they serve some unusual cuisine. I would invite my friends over to come with me. I would treat them with a cuisine with a certain ingredient that they said they would never ever eat in a million years but got them fooled by telling them it's chicken. you could see how much they enjoyed the food inspite of all their apprehensions. though I never did told them what it was til now.

* food is all about satisfying one's stomach and not one's imagination.

And why would that someone tell you if he ate one?

The next thing you'll know,
You'll be swoolen wondering why he was a great lover that night.
You've cum so many times without him pulling it out.

You'll be daydreaming for the next time you two will meet.

Errrrrr.....That's a little too vivid for me, how you're

as this has been. Just an observation...

Don't be a wuss. Of course you can't. The second pic is of a balut prepared too early.
One really should wait until thick black down has developed around the duckling.

In fairness, some of the ...things... that Americans eat is some fucking vile shit ... from a Filipino POV.
I won't even get into the Brits' dietary peculiarities, and may the Lord Jesus Christ forgive them,
but the Aussies' might just be the fucking worst.

Yeah, I hear you on that. I'd say the same about a chick eating that crap too.

But I think there's more to it then just half backing it. I've been told that some places bury it in the ground or something for extended amounts of time. Like cheese, balut needs to go through a fermenting stage, yes?

No, no, no... fermented? Blearghhhhhh...
Maybe that's how some Vietnamese do it, but not all.

Balut on the other hand, is always to be made from fresh duck eggs, boiled, then served with some salt on the side.

I got to tell you though, the only way I'd eat one of those eggs is if I was dared to eat it by a hot chick who was my wife. I'd probably heave a good dozen or so of them out and onto the floor before I could actually get my first one down.

I did a quick search on youtube and found a pretty funny clip of a guy eating it for the first time. Doesn't look like he was enjoying the snack.

styx,

Every time (dozen or so) I've visited the continent, London has been my gateway.
That means odd days, even a whole week at times, of hanging out in your country.

Despite a diet that likely includes what I maintain to be some rather dreadful fare,
(from which I must exclude some of your scones), the British generally strike
me as good natured, with a singular sense of humor and a vein for self-deprecation.

You're probably the exception today.
Definitely off it now...

No, your comment was fine, but spellbinder's post...
I'm not used to someone addressing a lady like that,
unless they're close friends or something,...

A matter of cultural differences, maybe?

All this sexual shit aside LOL...

Maybe U.S. posters can help me with one thing.
You have one pop food that I really have trouble with.
(but it's not that it grosses me out or anything)

Candied apples.

First time I see it, I'm like, wokay....
So I take a bite, and then I'm soon going WTF...

That shit seems impossible to eat, in a mechanical sense.
How do you keep all the caramel(?) from all sloughing off
on the first few bites, and hanging like a sad, sticky scrap
from your mouth?

I usually slice the carmel apple with a knife. Glad I could help.

A Candied Apple is dipped in a (usually red) candy substance that hardens on the apple!! Quite Crunchy!!! YUM!!! :D

The one you ate sounds defective. No cutting involved. If the caramel is done right it will adhere to the apple skin. Usually peanuts are on the caramel to give it some solidity. You have to take decent sized bites. if you're a nibbler you're gonna have problems. And if you don't like apple skin than you can forget it, just throw the whole thing away. You need good teeth especially for eating candied apples, if you were one of those kids chasing down sugarcane trucks in your youth then chances are your choppers aren't gonna cut it.
