What's the point of your post?
A. Neal, thanks a fuck load for helping me write a song that sounds like Journey or
B. Fuck you Neal for sounding like the song on my cd
Which is it?

I don't see it as a rehash of anything, I see it as a band putting out music in what has become their signature style. If it's good, it's good and, rehash or not, that is a strong, catchy song.
Well, you obviously have different standards for music that you enjoy. Nothing wrong with that. Diversity is what makes the world go around. Personally, I am not interested in what my ears tell me is rehashed material. I don't feel ripped off monetarily, though as I have not (and will not) be paying for this.

Same deal with Higher Place, Faith in the Heartland, Out of Harms Way, Livin' To Do, Kiss Me Softly, Live and Breathe, Beyond the Clouds, All the Things.... BUT... all of those songs have something "different" about them, that I love.. the guys have proven they have the capability of making a Journeyish song without being within a blatant Journey formula, I'd love to see them do it again and more often...
The_Noble_Cause wrote:"Live and Breathe" sucks. Especially Augeri yodeling off-key for the last 5 minutes "yeah, yeah, yeah."
Even pro-tools couldn't fix that shit.

Ooo.
Not a fan of that, either.
If you're going to put a guy through those kind of vocal olympic gymnastics, at LEAST drum up SOMEthing more worthwhile caterwauling than....
"yea yea yea."![]()

Come on, Cain.
Asleep at the switch on that.

You must be using a media player with taste.

Well if NWA sounds like “Be good to yourself” and “Believe in me” sounds like NWA and Neal played guitar on all “3” songs, where does that leave things?
I thought so.
