I think the spouse/boyfriend was cheating on her with another woman, she called her a "Tart", which is better sounding on ebay, than calling her a fucking filthy whore! Now you know ebay wouldn't allow "filthy fucking whore" on their site!

It's an old fashioned 'naughty' euphamism for a promiscuous woman. As used by little old ladies; "no better than she ought to be" when Nanna is sober and talking to the vicar's wife, "the bloody tart" when Nanna's had a few Christmas sherries and is bitching with 'Auntie' Jenny in the kitchen. Also used by mothers when their fifteen year old daughters are going out for the night - "You are NOT wearing that, you look like a cheap tart!"
