Towards the end of the show she said. "Wow, I didn't think he'd be that good. That was an awesome concert!"
And so it was. I specifically skipped Sunday's show since it was 3rd in 3 nights. I thought being last LA show, they'd go longer and integrate more new stuff. I was wrong. The set was the same as the Shoreline from 27th.
I don't understand why they keep playing FITH live. EVERYBODY sits down. This is a great driving or kickin back track but not for playing live no matter how well they play it. And they played it perfectly. Too long and not enough hooks.
Another disappointment was the single encore although I enjoyed LTS with AP. If Ross or Cain, it would've been off to the drink station. A big band like Journey needs to do a double encore.
All told though, I enjoyed this much more than the DL "co-headline" tour. CT and Heart were excellent.
Ann came in and sang part of OA which although good, unnecessary. I wanted to see how AP delivered certain parts in comparison with SP live. He's changin' up Faithfully a little so as not to sound exactly like the original. Would rather AP went into the Heart set and do the Mike Reno part of that heart song which I can't remember and am too lazy to look up.

As for crowd reaction. Most were cool with CT and Heart but when Journey came out, as before, the apechit hit the fan. Everybody was on their feet.
All I can remember right now.
