I suspected someone would attempt to put a spin on this. Sorry Stu...no spin works here. An innocent little boy is now dead, because his parents failed to protect him. While I do realize that anything can happen to any child, it is our job as parents to make intelligent decisions to keep our children safe. Children don't have the cognitive tools in their head to make well informed decisions for themselves. In my opinion, this is beyond reckless, regardless of what proponents of everyone in the country having access to guns will have you believe! Guns don't belong in the hands of little children, period, end of story!

You have to be 18 to buy certain guns and 21 to buy others so
why is an 8 year old baby playing with a gun at a gun show crowded with people?!!!
I hope they investigate this to infinity to see why and what really happened! If
you take your kid to a bar can you let them drink and smoke cigarrettes=no!
The father of this child is an idiot!
i blew a fuckin hole in my wall just cleaning my gun, keep the guns away ,hide them.artist4perry wrote:Just too young........they cannot at that age comprehend the full danger involved. If it can happen to an adult, it can happen to a young child. You must ask yourself, if the result was the same and it was your child, would you be so willing to say Oh well, it is a fluke? Your child is still dead. Accidents can happen with any firearm. You have to ask yourself, am I willing to take such a risk with my child?![]()
I agree,I have a buddy that has 38 fucking guns. Nobody needs 38 fuckin guns period. if he was asked to go to war ,he would run {Away} fast as a mother fucker.7 Wishes wrote:You don't need fucking sub-machineguns to kill fucking deer.
It's ridiculous. People have the right to own GUNS, not weapons that could wipe out half a battalion in 30 seconds.

Maybe he's a collector. If he's not, who cares, it's his right.

Maybe we just don't get hear it because we're not in the US, but I hear a lot of Americans talking about their rights; not so many talking about their responsibilities.
Just saying.

More kids drown in pools and car accidents than guns especially gun accidents.

Don't deny it. You've got a right to own a pool - and a responsibility to make sure your kids know how to swim, or keep them away from the pool until they do. You've got a right to own a car and a responsibility to drive it safely and sober. You may have a right to bear arms (and I believe the situation of that particular part of your constitution was to allow the citizens to form a militia in defence of the country, no?) but I'd like to hear a few more people shouting about being responsible with them. Letting a child play with an Uzi at a public fete is not responsible.

Just because someone can do something, doesn't mean that they should!
