It's a Canadian show! I think it still runs in syndication on some channel we get here - I'm sure I saw it just a couple of months ago either here or when I was in Vancouver.

Goldar was one tough motherfucker. Those finger rockets were really something. One of the local channels just started airing all of the old Jonny Sokko reruns. I DVR it every morning...it's on at 7 am and I'm already at work.

Growing up outside Philly, it was Captain Noah on Sunday mornings and the Wee Willy Weber show after lunch on weekdays.

When I think of the 70s, couple of the first songs that came to mind..........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX6zdrvmCw8 Roller
Then they went all 80s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7rbHmRq-SA
Roller still kicks butt LIVE. :) Myles Goodwyn and Rik Emmett.....both such great singer/guitar players.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-N2YkXChjQ This Flight Tonight
Great tune, but this one makes me laugh, look at everbody.....audience and band member.......they all look high as a kite. It looks like the same audience as Journey's Chicago Soundstage show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEtSiHJa0ZU

Er, that'll be a yes, then

I was already in senior High School and had a motorbike licence when it started so didn't really watch afternoon TV by then; too busy at rowing practice, windsurfing or out with my cousins and assorted friends causing mayhem or hanging out jamming and listening to music. Confess I always recorded YCDTOT, Degrassi and Press Gang, though. (And had a major crush on Alisdair     )

I don't know what those other ones are, but you got Degrassi way down on the bottom of the world? Cool. I'm surprised we even got that in the States.

I used to watch Ray Rayner & Friends every morning before school. I even had a stuffed Cuddly Duddly. I used to love it when it would be close to Christmas and he would show the Hardrock, Coco, and Joe and Suzi Snowflake cartoons on that show.

Yep. we all loved Ray Rayner and friends...I loved it when he had the annual 'guess the jelly bean' contest and the winners come to the show to select a prize...the prizes being the crafts that Ray and Chauncy (off camera somebody) made throughout the year. Ray was so funny cuz he had glue every where and his crafts always looked like crap. The kids would always seem to choose Chauncy's better one.
But, wasn't it Garfield Goose/Frazier Thomas who had Hardrock, Coco and Joe and Suzy?
