I was willing to take a look at this and be pleasantly surprised, but, no, as expected, still sucks.
He is wavering all over the place.
Do you not hear that?
Anyone who witnessed his curtain-closing American Idol performance or witnessed any one of his lip synched promotional spot for 2006's Bat 3 knows exactly what to expect.
Bat 3 is a great album, but Meatloaf is toast.

Ehwmatt wrote:Bat 3 was a damn good album, I really loved 5 or 6 of the tracks off of there, especially "What About Love."

The jet black mustache dye may not succesfully fool anybody, but his still reverberating thundercrack voice is doing its personal best to flip off Father Time.

I put the age they were at the time of the performance.
Farnham rocks too, just don't know much of his work outside his LRB tenure.

I always feel like dancing when I hear TJ...he still sounds strong, love his voice.
My mother played TJ records all the time I was growing up and she would go crazy over him. A few years ago, I was able to take her to a charity performance he did here. Small arena, intimate setting in the round with a rotating stage. I'll have to say, I only went to take my mom, but I ended up really enjoying myself. He still has a very strong, sexy voice and I love to hear him talking between songs! I went to show my mom how to look up his old stuff on youtube and came across this:
