Hey finalfight....remember this dickwad?
He used to punch like a friggin' girl. He would punch backwards, in a kind of slapping fashion. Major nutbag.

Saint John wrote:Roy's still somewhat fast, but he's completely lost his confidence and a lot like De La Hoya is afraid to pull the trigger. Calzaghe is extremely elusive and was doing what Jones used to do...when he could do it. Calzaghe is a great fighter and one extremely tough motherfucker. I've seen enough of his fights and he's gotten off of his ass more than a few times and punished his opponent. He's relentless.finalfight wrote:Saint John wrote:
I agree with just about everything except Calzaghe being an easy target. No way, dude.
He was in that fight. He came straight ahead and for the most part had Roy backed against the ropes or in a corner. It was completely frustrating when Calzaghe was goofing off and sticking his head through Roy's guard. You just knew if Roy's brain let him throw something back with his reflexes he would find the target but he just stayed immobile. I was literally shouting at the screen for Roy to throw anything back - even a head butt!![]()
It was a sad end for RJJ and Calzaghe had yet another lucky escape. The man has the most padded record in boxing.

Apparently this is currently on target to break all records for a live sporting event on PPV - which I was very surprised to hear.

Aint that the truth. Boxing only has two big paydays left (if they happen)
Pacman/Mayweather
De La Hoya/Cesar Chavez Jr.

finalfight wrote:Back on topic, if it happens at all I think Mayweather vs. Pacman would happen before Manny fights Hatton, if at all. Hatton is far too dangerous an opponent to risk losing the even bigger payday to. He is also a savage body puncher which is one of Manny's few weaknesses.
